I'm from Lake Highlands and staying with family for a few days - and was able to walk over over and take a CP Reformer Flow 1.5 class at this location. The 1.5 class here was different than the one in Baltimore, but in a great way. The class was challenging and great. The instructor Rosebud was wonderful; she knew I was new to the studio and was very helpful and friendly. I really appreciated her adjustments, advice, and reminders. I took a 6:30am class on a weekday, and it wasn't full. The studio is really nice - clean, organized, large enough for the reformers to be spaced out comfortably. In Baltimore, I have a 4 class per month package, so the drop in class rate made my eyes go pug-like for a minute, but I enjoyed the class very much, and I'd happily return or consider membership if I still lived in Dallas. Since I don't, I'm happy to be able to visit this Club Pilates location when I visit home!

About a year and a half ago, I bought a groupon that I sat on for about three months because I was so scared. Eventually, I sucked it up and went. And now I'm a total convert. Not to get cheesy, but the coaches really care that you learn and progress. And they do that by challenging you in a safe manner. Their eyes are on you all the time (there's one coach for every 10 people in the class). And they treat everyone with the same respect, from those in competition shape to you know, people like me. And their focus on form and technique works. I'm so much stronger than I was a year ago (you guys, I can do a handstand!), I run faster, I eat better, and I'm a few pounds lighter. Plus I made new friends too. I like knowing the name of everyone at my gym, and honestly, I like when they call me out when I'm slacking off. I'm still in the process of trying out all of the classes, but so far I would say the Pilates is my favorite. I have yet to get all the way through a workout without a break because the sweat life is so real, but I always feel like I got a great detox session and I sleep really well after my classes. It also challenges me and makes me want to come back so my body can get used to the heat AND get all the way through a workout with out a break. Make sure you bring a dry towel to sit on when you get in your car, because you will be DRENCHED when you leave. Love it!
