Fresh meat and fish/seafood counter. Cheese and cold meat counters, fresh veggies and fruit. Lots of frozen products (if you really need), pasta, household products, toys, books, electronics, garden and BBQ equipment and an attached pharmacy (in case you need to soothe your mosquitoe bites). Really enjoyed shopping here. The fish and seafood were of high quality and really fresh. Products had a good standard and prices were fair (as usual in Conad). The mall has some other fun shops as well and a good number of dining options.

But he went above and beyond to make sure we were going to like what he was going to prepare for us. Don't ask me the name because he said it in Italian and proceeded to say it was traditional from Puglia. And was he right. Each panini was a generous size, all ingredients fresh and prepared on the spot for you. It is also a meat/cheese market so you know they have the best quality. If you're in Monopoli, you should try it. Just be aware that they observe siesta time so it may be closed from 2-5

I love supermarkets - and in countries like France, Italy and Spain the supermarkets are just far…read moresuperior to supermarkets in Nordic countries e.g. Denmark. Even in a quite small city like Ostuni they have have a large supermarket full of delicacies; fresh fruit and veggies, fresh fish, a large variety of meats, cheeses, dairy, nonfood, cereals. Well, basically everything. Prices are just amazing too, especially on specialities. Only flaw; I missed an in-store butcher. Having said that, this store is a pleasant surprise.
