Ewell Court Park is a beautiful park with numerous pedestrian entrances. It is lovely for a Sunday…read moremorning stroll in the Summer where you can see children feeding the ducks in the pond and the wildlife around you. There is also a playground and a sports ground in the park. Located in the suburb of Ewell it is a rare piece of green land to be enjoyed by all. There are a few parking spaces by Ewell Court Library or down Lakehurst Road.

With plenty of wildlife, you can often see the herron sitting on the island in the middle of the lake. There are squirrels, ducks and plenty of tropical parrots that fly above. If you follow the path it leads to the playground where there are swings and slides for the children. Its a great place for dog walkers, strollers or to take the kids out. There is also a library and a garden centre within the grounds so there is something for everyone. It is my favourite park and is truly a beautiful and harmonious place.

Some of the books they have are rare and out of print, not on Kindle, and not available under Wiki reference either!! It's adjoining the…read moreAshtead park and in the same building as the baby clinic, so we made plenty of trips to the library. Registering is quick and easy and the staff are very helpful. There is a section for children, it is fairly small and cramped but it didn't seem to bother the children. They were very encouraging of the children who were on the Bookstart Book Crawl etc. Recommended!

The library has just re-opened, after several months closure for redecorating and renewal With a…read moremuch fresher, brighter look, newly up-to-date and more inviting, or in the words of a librarian:it looks as if it's had a spring clean. There are two welcolmingly comfy-looking, brown leather sofas, centre-stage as you come-in; you can also now self check-out or return books (very modern!). A good number of internet access PCs are available, and can be booked for use free-of-charge, within a time limit. In addition, there's also a decent selection of newspapers and periodicals for browsing and a comprehensive reference section. It's open every day, except Wednesday, with two late nights per week.

This is a pretty new library in the Merton area. It was built a few years ago and is well located…read morevery close to the station. Its the bottom floor of a new development of retirement homes. As its new its very well laid out. There is a good sized kids area, internet section and chairs for doing some work or reading in. There is a good section of books and because its in the Merton area you can request books from any of the other libraries in the network. The people working there are very friendly and helpful. The DVD section is good and you can return items out of hours via a drop box.
