Dry dock's a little close to Leicester Uni so you get the student crowd rolling through, but that also means that there's good deals on drinks! Its a chill pub with a few pool tables to fuck around on, with some soft couches that look a little overly new age. But who cares, throw down a few pints and enjoy your time in this boat. Good look trying to spend that ! Should have been a happy Ska revival night. The Donkey was shamelessly out just to make money. I was punched twice and my wife was knocked to the ground and her glasses broken, not a random attack. Like I said before this was by the staff and henchmen. Loved the specials, love Ska music. Visit the Donkey at your own peril. I shall never be returning.

I love this bar, the tunes are always wicked on a weekend evening (or morning, depending), they're open til early and I've never seen any trouble in there, it's just full of people having a good time. For such a late bar the prices aren't too bad and the bar staff are usually quite cheery. It's dark and dingy, the floor is sticky but these are all aspects of its charm. I also wasn't overly impressed with the attitude of one member of staff - I went to inform him that someone had thrown up in both the sinks in the ladies toilets, subsequently rendering them unusable.
