I've only had to call twice, and both times the experience was unfortunately unpleasant. Given that this is a place of faith and community, I expected a more polite and respectful interaction. It's disappointing and has made me second-guess whether I should continue coming here or consider attending another parish in the area. I'm sharing this feedback not to complain, but in the hope that it helps improve the experience for others in the future.

The multi-generational congregation is extremely caring and friendly, the worship is engaging and meaningful with both traditional and contemporary music each week, and the biblically sound and powerful preaching by Pastor Gunnar Tesdahl is absolutely phenomenal. His ability to deliver God's Word in a way that is truthful, relevant, inspiring and impactful has personally helped me to grow deeper in my faith. I also love that there is something for all ages available for everyone from kids Sunday school classes and VBS, to events throughout the week like Alpha, Moms prayer groups, support groups or fellowship at the on-site coffee shop. The sanctuary and grounds are stunning as well. This growing and healthy church truly loves Jesus and loves the community! Don't hesitate to make SYVPC your church home!

I don't like it how after mass the kids swarm the priest to sign off on their mass attendance forms (for whatever it is for). Can't he delegate that to someone else so that I don't have to clamor for a handshake on the way home? Mass is efficient and the music selection is adequate. I like how no one forces you to hold hands during the Lord's Prayer, but I don't like the applause at the end if every mass. The parking lot is a bit dark at night so bring a flashlight so you're seen.
