Which is nice not having to sit there for an hour + The first time I went it was about an hour wait, and the woman who waxed me was gentle and did a lovely job. She talked to me and made me feel comfortable about getting a bikini wax. The second time I went I had to wait longer, but I think that had to do with the time of day. The woman who waxed me was anything but gentle. She didn't seem to be experienced? She didn't use any baby powder and when I told her that the wax was very hot her response was "yes it is" ....usually they cool it down a bit especially on such s sensitive area! I don't know if I'll go back again because you don't seem to be able to choose your aesthetician.

The "depiladoras" clearly have no time to ask common questions like "Is the wax too hot"? or even try to make the experience as painless as possible. I would recommend Wax In The City to those who wants a salon conveniently located and "without risks" (clean and with professional staff). However, if you already know a smaller salon with a nice staff who has time to do the work... Don't leave it.

Since I was not enjoying my massage I asked her one more time to go stronger and here she start yelling and screaming at me. I asked her to stop and leave the room. Spoke to her manager and called the owner. The owner offered me a free massage which I refused. The lady refused to apologize. I cannot believe that customers are treated that way. I have never seen any thing similar in my entire life. I would never recommend this place to any body.

I remembered my friend telling me about this place. Although I'm not a big fan of the train station itself, this place is very clean and the girls actually wear gloves while threading (if you are a slight germaphobe like me, you'll get why this is exciting!!!) I also love the result. Think I found my new go-to.
