My first visit to Dr. Torrie (Ashe) was last summer. Our son and his family, including two very young children, had been seeing Dr. Mark for a few weeks and were very pleased with the results. I held off until an incident last summer left me unable to stand up straight or walk without clinging on to something. There was substantial improvement after the initial visit, but it had been so long since I'd seen a chiropractor, I needed a lengthy overhaul of sorts. Dr. Mark was up to the task! Long story short, I have continued to see him on a regular basis to keep myself in shape for a plethora of responsibilities and in an effort to postpone a second hip replacement as long as possible (it seems to be helping!). Dr. Mark is exceptionally personable, patient in addressing concerns, and efficient in his ability to get right to the source of the problem and fix it without wasted time or resources. He employs whatever techniques best fit your particular situation, and there are several! In addition, Peri provides a delightful 'first impression' of the clinic. If you're reluctant to see a chiropractor for any reason, give Epic/Dr. Torrie a chance! read more

I had not been in for my normal appointments due to Covid. As soon as I hurt my back doing simple yard work I knew I needed to get in for an adjustment. I was hoping for just some relief as it was uncomfortable to sit, walk, or sleep. You can imagine my surprise when I was able to walk out of Dr. Torrie's office pain free. He took the time to listen to me, and was careful during the adjustment. I will follow his aftercare instructions and will be back in for my next appointment soon! P.S. He also has a great sense of humor so I usually leave there in a better mood than the mood I was in when I got there. And his staff is very friendly. #highlyrecommend read more

Visiting Dr. Mark and his team are among the highlights of my weekly routine in Boone. I travel a lot and the long plane rides, taxing physical hours, and limited wellness resources on the road always leave me feeling like a can of sardines when I return. But Dr. Mark knows exactly how to adjust me to get me into the groove quickly. Furthermore, he has always gone out of his way to serve our growing family. I've been going to Mark since I was pregnant with my first child a year and a half ago. Not only was my body kept in line throughout my pregnancy, but also throughout my postpartum "mom" journey AND now into my second pregnancy. AND my infant gets adjusted once a month. She's one now and still has yet to get sick. Chiropractic care has been my recommendation to so many people for so many things (from back pain to sinus issues) because I've experienced the benefits of it myself!
