This store saved my sweet behind today! First, nearly nothing is open in Munich on Sunday. As many…read moretimes as I've been here, it is a phenomenon I can't comprehend! But DM-Drogerie was walking distance from my hotel and open until fairly late. One of my bags had been misdirected, and unfortunately it was the one with all my makeup and a few other personal effects. I have a presentation tomorrow for work and didn't want to show up barefaced! The store is large with good selection of everything I needed from makeup and pantyhose to a shoe shine kit and toothpaste. Prices seemed pretty much in line with what I would have expected back in the US. Note: this location is a little tough to find. It's downstairs near the entrance to the subway station, so just look for an escalator down and follow the signs.

I was trying to find child locks or known as "Kindersicherung" auf Deutsche. I went to a couple of…read morehardware stores and was unable to find any. One of the guys at the office said to try at DM and off I went. This shop looks like it has been recently opened and it's huge. Everything from drugs to cosmetics and tons of other household supplies and baby supplies. Sure enough they had a range of child lock products available in the baby section and reasonably priced. It was almost as cheap as buying on eBay or online stores. The staff here are helpful and surprise surprise there is actually staff at this shop ;-)) The range is extensive and the choice plenty. It is located in the upper level of the OEZ and whilst the store was quite busy at lunchtime it was quick to find what I needed and pay for it. Definitely coming back here again :-))
Good service, but not very big, they only have standard stuff there, other stuff have to be ordered.read more
Love the ease of this little corner market to pop in and get my bath salts and fuzzy vitamins…read more I pop in every chance I get to stock up on these essentials. I've become quite addicted to both items. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite bath salt. It would depend on my mood. I love the ones for de-stress, and deep sleep. I just did one that has arnica in it. There is also one called Don't worry, be happy, that I did one morning before work. It had me dancing and grooving a work. My colleagues were asking what got into me, and when I explained my love of these bath salts. They are now hooked too. Also the vitamin tablets that you just drop in water are so convenient- definitely help me consume more water during the day. Store is always clean and well stocked Staff is friendly and efficient

You can find anything from household cleaning and washing supplies, baby supplies, food items, cosmetics and hygiene products for men and women, and on and on it goes. Prices are pretty decent and the choice is not extensive however not bad either. This particular one is over two floors. There is also a section at this one for stationery and office / schools supplies and electronics including cd/DVD etc. I have been here a few times and it's convenient for me.
Good destination for drugstore-related items but you will be limited if you are searching for pain…read moremedicine. That you will need to go to Apotheke for. Germany controls the distribution of that. So instead, I enjoyed my time inside the dm, playing with lipstick colors and going gaga over their selection of travel size bottles of just about everything imaginable. Not many shack food options here (maybe they were upstairs but I didn't venture up there) but magazines, makeup, hair care, skin care, they have it all. Really clean store, too. Great to have one of these on the corner.

It also has a wine selection! Both times the cashiers have been quick, efficient, and friendly - even though I speak no German and they spoke little (or no) English. Really, all you need is a smile and some cash - oh, and you won't need much as the prices are great! :)
