I had my eyelashes done by Abbie Dunphy at Envy salon and not only was she personable, she was quick and reasonably priced.

Lindsay, the owner of this cute little salon, has been my stylist off and on (whenever I am in New…read moreBrunswick) for over 10 years. It's fantastic to see her rocking her own business, and managing to stay afloat even through COVID restrictions. When I saw Lindsay recently, it had been close to a year since my last trim (thanks, COVID). She made it a thoroughly enjoyable experience, still taking the time to do a full head massage while washing my hair, and then applying a hot, steaming towel to set in the conditioning treatment - I've never had that done before! I was extremely happy with my haircut - she chopped off exactly 6" in exactly the way I asked, and made me feel like a glam queen. I can always count on Lindsay to aptly decipher my hair needs and give me precisely what I hope for going in. I didn't even have to show her a photo of a similar hairstyle - she just knew. She's super flexible with booking appointments, even getting you in sooner if something opens up. I hear from Lindsay that she's very busy these days, and I can understand why! The salon is very conveniently located in central downtown on Queen Street, upstairs away from the bustle of the sidewalk below. Everyone is masked up, the bathroom is the first thing you see when you walk in the door and hand sanitizer is also right inside. There are a nice selection of unique products as well, including locally made beard oils, etc. but never any pressure to purchase anything extra. Also, finally, I have to say, this is the least expensive hair cut I've had in the last several years, so be sure to tip REALLY well!

I came here on Saturday to get my hair done before a formal event…read more I arrived 15 minutes early and checked in at the front desk and they hung up my jacket. The receptionist informed me that my stylist was finishing up with another client and that she'd be a few more minutes. I was greeted by my stylist a few minutes later and she took me in. She asked me how she could help me and I stated I wanted a shampoo blow out, bang trim and curls (I showed a picture of what I wanted). She washed my hair, which was okay but more effort could have been put in. I have had hair washes at other salons and they usually massage your scalp while washing your hair. An area of improvement could be to massage the head slightly and wash the hair located at the back lower bottom of the head. Afterwards she took me back to the hair station and explained some hair products she would put into my hair to make the curls last longer. I was impressed that she took the time to explain each of the products. She blow dried my hair in sections, then gave me the bang trim. She trimmed my bangs to how I wanted and described and I was very happy. On to the curls, she efficiently curled my hair within 20 minutes and did a good job (see attached photo). It was very similar to the curls I showed her in the photo. The curls also lasted the whole night! Overall, I was pretty satisfied with the experience. Some areas of improvement could be to give a slight head massage when washing hair and I felt the staff could be a bit more friendly.

just now NEW Terrible…read moreexperience at the Fredericton head shop store, husband purchased Morocanoil dry shampoo (dark) I didn't use it or open the container as I have light hair, took the unopened product back to the store with an ask to exchange for the light shampoo, the owner 'Kim' refused to exchange the product quoting 30 day policy etc, unable to make a common sense decision - not only will I never enter foot in this business again, I will be registering a formal complaint with head shop administrators. Disappointing interaction indeed
