Some big pluses, and a handful of minuses...
Pluses: Location! A great place to stay in Cuenca, if you don't mind climbing a lot of hills. Then again, if you're visiting Cuenca, you have to be ready to climb some hills! Next - the place is spotlessly clean. There are snacks and beverages available 24/7, and fresh breads are brought in daily.
Minuses: Street parking is not available. There is a public parking garage (carved out of a cave) about a 10 minute walk away (all uphill). The price is steep for 24 hours (about €28) but Entrehoces will give you a pass (for multiple-day stays) that will allow you to use your car as much as you like and park there again, at a good savings. Another minus, if you're sensitive to cigarette smoke: The foyer of the building is a common area, and someone seems to smoke inside. Although Entrehoces itself is smoke-free, you have to pass through this area of very stale cigarette smoke when going in or out of the building. read more
