I travel on business a lot... and have been using National as my preferred choice…read more Coming to Saskatoon, Shelby greeted me with a smile and assisted me with a vehicle upgrade... due to my membership status. A day later, I got an email inquiring about my rental experience so far. This is a 1st as I never got these before. Well I had to voice my opinion... as I was not impressed with the rental I got. The interior dash was not wiped and was Dusty, coffee stains... plus the windows had smears. I got a reply right away and a phone call. Shelby continued to offer me another vehicle and I picked one... which had to be arranged as it was at another yard. I later figured out she got it from their sister company Enterprise. The switch over was flawless and I really appreciated the quick response to making me happy. Sadly, the new rental also had some garbage... McDonald's cup u dear a seat and sunflower seeds on the front passenger seat. This gives me an idea of how well they go over their return vehicles. The windows and dash was better... so I took some pics and off I went. 1 week later, I am back to return the rental... Shelby is at the counter. Again, the same warm smile and remembering me, my issues and wanting to know how the change of vehicles went. I did share my findings and expressed that it was better than the first. She again apologized which I appreciated, knowing it isn't her fault. She offered me a discount and that again goes to show me... her exceptional customer service. As I went to get her card, knowing I was going to review my experience at this location... she was so grateful that I was going to make a review. I am giving this a 4 star and it really is all Shelby. Keep up the great work and superior custimer satisfaction. This level of service is far and few nowadays. Being an executive overseeing managers who oversee employees on a daily basis, I know that we all love to hear of the front end... how things are going when it's positive... not always just the negative or when shit hits the fan.

I had to meet a friend in southern Sask and was pleasently surprised that Enterprise would let me…read moredrop the car off in Swift Current. When I came in during the morning they did not have a vehicle waiting but put me on a waitlist. An hour later I had a call that they had a vehicle for me and we did the walk around and paperwork. They gave me a cargo van as they didn't have a car which was fine until I realized how much more fuel it takes to drive that thing but I was grateful for having a vehicle. The staff at both Saskatoon and Swift Current were courteous, friendly and helpful and I would recommend Enterprise especially if you miss the greyhound. The one thing I would encourage other people to do is try and do a walkaround and look at the roof. Both myself and the staff member helping me were too short to look at the cargo van roof and I rented the van the morning after a hail storm. Another manager asked me about the damage but I only had the car for 3 hours and there was no storm when I was driving it so I didn't have to cover it. But if you do rent from them make sure you look at the roof especially after a hail storm. Other than that I can fully recommend Enterprise for their price and service. I've only rented one other time from this particular Budget but it's the 4th time I've been to Saskatoon and in what seems almost funny the other two times involved other managers renting and both times getting upgraded to a Hummer. I didn't get a Hummer this time or last time but I don't really want it. What I do love at this particular Budget probably more than the countless others I've ever been to is the people here are just too nice. It's almost a superfluous kind of nice. I'm just not used to that kind of niceness in any other city. It's gotta be a Sask thing. That or this place is just great so take your pick. You see the thing is the shorter amount of time I spend at a Budget the more stars they usually get. San Francisco? You had to take an elevator down a floor from the 4th but still, no waiting. LaGuardia airport? I think they wanted me out of the building asap. Today in Saskatoon with a line of people there (that's usually the case) I go to the right side of the counter where the FastBreak is honored and I can already see my name up on the board with keys dangling. It's such a beautiful sight to see, a car just waiting for your arrival. I can't stress this enough. If you're a car renter or even casual like me, get FastBreak. It costs nothing and has saved me countless hours. I waited not even one minute with a line up of maybe 10 or so and having FastBreak allows you to skip the line entirely. The shorter experience with them the better. It's not because I like them but they like me so much they want me out of their sight and into their car. Hey, I'll take it every time.

Not sure how these people are even in business.

Tried to reserve a type of vehicle only to be told they don't do that, then when we went to pick up…read morethe vehicle there was one on the lot we would rather have had, was told it was reserved for someone else. The vehicle the gave us was FILTHY, like it hadn't been cleaned since the beginning of winter. Fuel/hotel/fast food receipts from past customers, litter strewn under seats, wreaked of cigarette smoke. I ended up having to wash the thing inside and out, the water turned almost black after wiping the seats and touch surfaces down. 10/10 would NOT recommend
