I've rented with Enterprise many times before, but this Ozone Park location completely ruined my experience. The customer service was unacceptable. They called me last minute about my reservation and refused to work with me on using my debit card, even though I had the proper proof of address. When I called Enterprise customer service management, I was told that one proof was more than enough, but the manager at this branch wouldn't even let me explain. To make matters worse, I was placed on hold for over an hour, only to realize that the branch had closed while leaving me on hold. If I hadn't hung up, I would have been sitting there indefinitely. When I finally received a response, it wasn't an actual solution or apology--it was just a generic, copy-and-paste "help center" message that did nothing to address the situation. This lack of accountability and professionalism shows complete disregard for customers' time and concerns. I will be carrying this complaint to corporate because the way this branch operates is unacceptable. Until Enterprise addresses this, I will not be returning. read more

So I was in a bad car accident (her fault) and my car was totaled. I needed to rent a car. I called this enterprise in ozone Park on two separate occasions and they told me they had absolutely no cars at all. OK, no problem so I go to the enterprise in Jamaica and I get a car . Bad luck with this car from the beginning. All the lights came on the oil, light engine light. When I reached out to them they said that Pep Boys must not have turned the lights off and reset it. Out of two keys, one didn't work, but the way it was put together I couldn't take it off, so I was stopped caring around to cues one not working . Did my license plate on the back got stolen so I had to go to the police department in file a police report OK I called enterprise and it was on park and they absolutely wouldn't help me and said they had no cars. How does a Rent-A-Car have no cars on three separate occasions ?? I treated it good really yes They had no answer for me. I went back to Jamaica and Manny was nice enough to get me a car right away at a cheaper price than The original car I had.. Granted, I had problems with the car that I got from Jamaica but the customer service I received in ozone Park was disgusting ! Into add insult to injury. We had a nasty car accident. An Enterprise car rental was provided while our main vehicle was being repaired. Everything has pretty much gone swell. Until we were involved in an accident with the rental car. Because of the accident we were incredibly stressed and prepared ourself with whatever mess came our way. Luckily, with the staff at Rockaway Enterprise... we were greeted by Zakiya S. kindness and help. Let me just say, she the best person you can have when you're going through a stressful time. She was very attentive with our questions. Handled all the reports quickly. The staff there was great... from assessing the car damage to cleaning the new vechile being provided for us. Got to say Zakiya S. is the best patient, sweet and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place. Good job to the manager Anthony D. for maintaining great staff. This is an addendum to my original review below; After contacting Enterprise as requested below with additional details I was contacted by the Enterprise District Area Manager. He apologized and went on to assure me that the employee in question was spoken to and put on probation. Meaning one more complaint and he's no longer an employee of Enterprise. The area manager also wiped out all charges to my credit card and comped me the rental. Because Enterprise did right by me I will continue to use them. But if you ever encounter a problem like I did contact Enterprise and I'm sure you will also get satisfaction. This is my original one star review followed by Enterprises reply.. I had to bring my car into K&E Auto body on Tuesday to get my car repaired. I needed to rent a car from the Enterprise agent at the K&E location. Your agent Chris was very nice and did his best to get me a car. After waiting an hour for a car Chris decided to drive me and another customer to the Enterprise location on Rockaway Blvd. Upon arriving at the Rockaway Blvd location the woman who was taken there with me got her car immediately, I continued to wait. After waiting another 40 minutes I was then taken with another customer to the Enterprise location in Flushing to get my car. I was driven to the Flushing location by an Enterprise agent named Alex. He proceeded to drive down Woodhaven Blvd. at 70 MPH in a 35 MPH zone (I saw the speedometer from the back seat). He only slowed down once I complained about his excessive speed. He also was playing "Rap" music on the car's audio system. I am not a fan of this type of music and I take offense at hearing the "N & F words" coming from the car's stereo. This agent has no Idea on how to treat customers that he is transporting. Not every body likes "Rap" music and driving at excessive speed. What ever happened to the Enterprise policy of bringing the car to the customer. It took me almost 3 hours to get my rental car. This is not acceptable. There was also another Enterprise employee in the front passengers seat. When he got into the car his seat was almost fully reclined and moved back giving me no room for my legs in the back seat. It never dawned on this guy that I had no room until I had to ask him to move his seat up and straighten the seat back. What ever happened to customer service and common courtesy? I am taking a trip to Florida at the end of November and was going to rent a car from Enterprise for the month that I will be there. I always rent my cars in Florida from the office in Pine Island Ridge. But I am considering renting from another company due to the bad taste left in my mouth from this current rental with Enterprise. What are Enterprises thoughts on my current experience? read more

My family's preferred location for car rentals. The guys there seemed very helpful to my husband while he was choosing a car to rent for our 5 hours trip to VA. After hearing our request for massive trunk space while still being spacious on the inside he showed us a Nissan Altima and that car served our needs perfectly. I much prefer to rent here after dealing with the JFK location one time too many with their sketchiness. We'll be returning to rent for our next trip soon. read more

I truly want to give this business a chance. I've read good reviews about the customer service and I just say they are accurate. The staff are very polite and informative. The reason for this review is the that I was informed by mail that the car was return with damage. When I returned the car I took a video of the Chevy Equinox (interior and exterior) that proves the SUV had no damage. The representative checked the suv and said that everything was returned as received. I left the car parked on the street and the employee said he would bring it in. Got into a accident and my insurance coverage for a rental was $30/ a day covering up to one month. I get to this location and they had limited options for some reason. I was offered a Nissan Sentra for 31 dollars a day and a Toyota Highlander for $32/ a day. So I decided to go with the highlander because I like the bigger car. I was told the insurance didn't cover the full amount so I would have to pay the difference when I returned the rental which I did not mind the 2 bucks extra a day and thought it wouldn't be bad. I figured my car would take about 3 weeks to be done so would only have to pay under 100 bucks. Boy was I wrong. Let me just say I was into the rental a week and a half and starts getting phone calls about when I was returning the rental I told the girl the first time well my car is still in the shop it did not even start the work yet. she said ok I'm going to extend you another week. I thought that was odd because I am covered up to 30 days. I told the girl on the phone this she said it's just a policy we have to extend it after a week. Second week I get another call same thing.. 3rd week I get another call and am told when am I bringing the car back because their is a issue with the insurance they stopped paying us after 15 days so you owe us for 6 days out of pocket I immediately called my insurance and they said the person who hit me insurance canceled the claim after 15 days so enterprise started charging me after the 15th day but I would be paid back the difference.. keep in mind my car is still not ready yet so the next day after receiving the phone call from enterprise I did not trust this place and returned the car to this location. I go in and am told my bill is for 645.00 I said wait why do I have to pay that the guy said you choose a car that was $62/ a day and your insurance only covers $30/ a day. This was the same gentleman who helped me the day I picked up the car and never mention the $/62 bucks a day. He said $32 a day. Hr I told the guy you didn't mention this all you said was the Nissan was 31 and this was 32 you never said it's 62 and your insurance only covers 30 he said 32.. so if I would of choose the Nissan it would of been 61 a day Wtf!!!! Do your selves a favor next time if you get into a accident and your insurance only covers a little amount make sure you do not get scammed like I did. You are better off not even getting a rental. Take public transportation it would be cheaper then dealing with crooks. Even my insurance company was baffled and they got me back my money I was charged for 6 days but I still had to pay the 645.00 to enterprise. Never again. read more

This was my second time renting with this location. They tried their best to give you a better deal. This is a busy office. But they do their best to not make your wait longer than it needs to be. The cars are always maintained. I really enjoy the Nissan Maxima and Ford Focus. read more

The staff was super nice and friendly BUT ... the guy who took me back to the auto shop wasn't familiar with the area which was only 5 mins away i had to use my gps on my phone and hes driving had alot to be desired .... hard breaking at every single stop sign it was annoying... the rental I received drove nice BUT smelled horrible and had no gas in it (the gas light was on). I'm highly upset and completely unsatisfied with this enterprise location. I had a trip scheduled today. Had all my bags packed, and everything ready to go and I get there to pick up my rental, with all my required documents (I called before hand to insure I would bring everything I needed) and when I get there this young, rude white employee who was so unhelpful, and pretty much looked like she had no idea what she was doing.. she told me I needed another form of document even though when I had called they said it was okay to bring in. She refused to accept it and turned me away and said "sorry, there's nothing I can do" so now I'm rental less, had to cancel my trip, and went there to simply waste my time. The enterprise rent-a-car in Ozone Park might not be in compliance with terms of the franchise because they have been forcing people to always include DW, not as a choice or extra, but as a must-have. In fact, in some cases, they do add other extras that the renter might not have requested. It happened to me and they added more extras which I only noticed after I gave the car back. They need to be checked to make sure that they are not misrepresenting themselves in dealing with their customers. read more

Let's start off with I got into a major car accident!! In which my car dealership was able to assist me with a rental from Enterprise! As everyone knows we have been going through a pandemic for quite some time now! In which right before we were all on locked down and I lost my valid Non- expired drivers license. In the mean time to not walk around without an ID I kept my old expired one on me just in case until I can make it to the DMV to get another! I explained this to manager NICK! In which he stated that I would have to go online and sign up for a new license. As I tried to do so, the document number was not working- I explained this to Nick "the manager" again and he rudely told me that I would need to go to the DMV. He continued to answer phone calls when I tried to ask for more information on my rental and ignored me. In which I had to ask a young lady for more information. Finally when Nick got off the phone for literally a minute I explained to him I do not have a car now due to me just dropping my car off at the dealership and getting picked up by enterprise from the dealer ship!!! & he stated "I can not help you with that!" Now I have to pay a $30 lyft ride to the DMV and from enterprise!!! $60 down the drain that I'm sure the "manager" (NICK) isn't going to refund me for- my point is for a "manager" to not finish assisting a guest they have started assisting is absolutely unacceptable and for NICK to be dismissive and rude is completely uncalled for - especially during hard times like these where he isn't understanding nor takes circumstances under consideration this shows his customer service skills is PISS POOR! read more

When I went at first they didn't have many selections but they advised me to come back in an hour which was no problem. When I returned I drove off in less then 20 minutes with a great SUV. Horrible experience at this Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Mark, the manager is completely unprofessional. Geico set up a rental car for me. Mark contacted me to have someone meet me at the auto body shop. The representative he sent was over 30 mins late. When I called him to explain that I was waiting in my car for over 30 minutes with my newborn he was irritated at my call. I asked what car to expect as I was looking for the rep and he had no clue. When I got in the car I heard him tell the representative that I was rude and to expect the worse from me. I cancelled my reservation with them and went to the location on Foster Ave in Brooklyn. As the manager, I would expect him to be the example to the rest of the staff. Everyone else was delightful. I've dealt with the Enterprise in Ozone Park numerous times over the last few years, and they have been one of the best that I have ever dealt with, everyone working here deserves recognition. For such a small branch, the employees do everything in their power to ensure their customers are completely satisfied and try to help them as quickly as possible. The team effort they all put into their work is something other businesses need to follow. I've rented vehicles for vacation in the past, but my most recent visit is what made me leave my review. I had to rent two vehicles for a wedding and they were all amazing! They made sure that everything with each vehicle was perfect, got me the exact vehicles that I wanted, and worked with me and my schedule around pick up and drop off.
