I was hit by a driver who ran a stop sign in a rental from this location, and he was using the default liability. The service rep repeatedly told me Enterprise has nothing to do with it which is dangerously untrue, even after liability was determined the company sends me a ten page scare document claiming "proof" that I owe THEM $5k... it's just pictures of the damage on their car and a payment form. The claims adjuster is using petty cat-and-mouse tactics to prolong the issue hoping I'll just give up, meanwhile my car is a total loss and my back is injured. They've aggressively shirked responsibility from the get go when the at-fault was plain as day. If Enterprise is the last rental company on earth, I'll just walk. read more

THE HEADLIGHTS WERE OUT, THE CAR WAS OVERDUE FOR AN OIL CHANGE, AND THE TIRES NEEDED AIR. The car was dirty inside and out. No one attempted to clean the vehicle until the day of pickup, and even that was a half done job. The staff also attempted to give my reserved vehicle to someone else... so reservations aren't even honored. If you can avoid renting from this place, AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS! It has taken them a minimum of an hour to get the car ready each time I've been there. we worked with this guy named jakorie or jamarie not too sure what his name was but he was dark skin with some grey hairs. He was very rude and nonchalant the entire time we worked with him. He acted as though he didn't wanna be there or bothered at all and shouldn't be working for anyones customer service job. he wasn't knowledgeable at all or was willing to give any knowledge about the company policies or answer any questions! worst experience ever at any enterprise we've been to. dont go to him he will make your trip hell from the beginning because he know you need the rental! read more

DO NOT EVER!! COME HERE LOOKING FOR A MINIVAN!!! THEY WOULD RATHER SEE YOU DIE THAN PUT ASIDE A CAR FOR YOUR RESERVATION. We called an entire Month in advance to request a car on a specific date. They simply dgaf. No car, no eye contact either, because they can't give you a guarantee when the next one will be there. What will happen is you'll make your reservation, call two weeks out, call one week out, call two days before, the day of, you'll come on down, they'll get your info, and then boom the best they can do is a 15 passenger van that gets 13 miles a gallon or an acura (that will not fit the luggage of 4 people). Then, they'll promise you that if you just come back in the morning when it opens, the minivan will be waiting for you. It's a lie. But I'm sure you knew that by now. Everything that happens in there is a lie. There is no reason for them to not lie because what are you going to do? Not rent a car? Okay. And this is why we need a national train network/transportation system so i don't ever have to engage with these scammers. I would rather pay $1000 more every year in taxes to build a national rail if it meant i never had to enter an Enterprise Car Rental again. Also, for some infernal reason, they've got one bloke outside cleaning the cars and 15 salespeople cajoling around inside making empty promises. Like?? Maybe if a few more would help that poor guy out in the heat get the stains out of the seats and vent out the mysterious smells you could be moving cars a bit faster. My first time having a car rental and its due to an accident. The Driver's rear tire constantly needs air, and the passenger front seat belt is not functional. I wish I would of check the car myself before leaving. Also please if you can avoid getting insurance through them. They do not take the time to explain in detail the insurance process. They make it seem like it's a onetime fee but it isn't, so I was double charge for insurance because my days were extended. read more

I am an Enterprise Plus member. This location has made me reconsider that after my most recent transaction. 1 very good employee, but the rest are very poor in service and professionalism. I wish I would have gotten the really good employees name and given him recognition. Due to COVID, I have to use a Montgomery location instead of the location where I live. Good luck getting a car from this location. Reserved a car and they called me at 9am to tell me they were running behind for available cars but would call me when one was ready. Never called. I called and got hung up on. Try the one located downtown in Carriage Hill. They're nicer and have cars. read more

This company has awful service! i rented a car and I went through State Farm . They gave me a suv even though I have a Honda because that's all they had, when I first got the car I had questions and the guy basically told me he was about to get off work and was tired! I also complained that the car needed a tune up or something because it was going through gas like crazy . I was told that they didn't have any cars available, and when they did I will be contacted. I wanted to speak with a manger and was told I would after he comes from talking to someone and never was contacted! i Was bring charged for 2 transactions in 1 week and one was with out permission! read more

Incomprehensibly inept. "Open and ready to serve you"? Open, sure. Ready to serve? Not even close. I had a confirmed reservation. "Confirmed reservation" was the language in the email. The parking lot was full of cars, so much that cars were blocking traffic lanes, but the guy in front of me who reserved more than a day earlier was told that there was a 3-hour wait. At least. When I asked why I got a confirmation, the only answer was "I'm so sorry." When I asked why the website shows cars available, the answer: "I'm so sorry." That didn't sound like an apology; it sounded like dismissal. It sounds like, "there is nothing I can do, and I'm not going to do anything, life is hard, just wait.." But in REAL life there was something to do. You tell people the truth. At first. Not when they show up, but at first. Telling someone, 'we have nothing ready, but reserve now to get in line and we'll have it in 5-6 hours' might be hard. It requires maturity and taking responsibility. But it would have paid off. When you wait until the customer contacts you, even the best explanation sounds like a pitiful excuse. I've used Enterprise faithfully 30 years. Then they closed the store near me and I had to use this one. Now, I can't imagine ANY chance that I will ever spend another cent with them. They didn't just lose a sale. They burned their reputation and lost the next 30 years of sales from me. read more

The most miserable customer service I've ever received, anywhere. First, I called the morning of my reservation about 4 times to let them know the time of my reservation had changed but nobody answered. We showed up to get the rental car, and were rudely told that my husband was unable to pay for my reservation despite us having matching IDs. The female employee then turned her head and made a rude remark about me AS I WAS STANDING IN FRONT OF HER. Then, while we were waiting for the car, the rep came back to tell us that the number we had on file was called this morning and now our reservation has passed and no car is available. The number they had on file was incorrect and blamed us for providing the wrong number, when we had called them to place the reservation. This Enterprises is the WORST RUN establishment I have ever encountered. Management is poor operations are worse. Been waiting 2 hours now. I needed a car for one day. I went online to make a reservation the night before and then about 4pm the next day I went to the Eastern Blvd Location. As soon as I entered there were agents helping people but they still said hi welcome and told me they would be right with me. I thought that was good. Then a young African American male, I wish i could remember his name. Called me to the counter he was professional, helpful, courteous and wanted to make sure I was happy! I don't really know what's going on at this location but it has to get better,it MUST ! Customer service was awful. I was standing in there and another customer was also saying it was horrible and stated that they were talking negative about a customer in front of him. This is not the service I have experienced in the last 15 or more years. No one in there is friendly at all, you stand for long periods of time even after making a reservation in advance. You wouldn't even know who management is,this is not acceptable at all The cars are half cleaned, wreak of bad smells,seats nasty, even the establishment is not clean. This is unacceptable not to mention had tanks are rarely on full tank ! This particular store on the eastern blvd is becoming the worse with their service to costumers. Absolutely,Ridiculously,Awful !!!!! The turn overs in workers are horrific at this location, and to me I think that's a huge problem along with improperly being trained in customer service somewhere along the way. Zero stars!!! I understand there's a pandemic going on but that was just part of the problem. I had reservation to be picked up at a repair shop nearby, well I waited until after 10 minutes of my pick up time and called for them to say "Yes your rental car is ready!" like okay great but if I can't get there it's useless. After telling them yes I needed to be picked up no one came. In fact my repair shop drove me 2.0 miles down the road where this location is. I let the pick up thing go and was like whatever. Next is when I got there for my rental I checked in, keep in mind earlier the person I spoke with said "Yes your rental car is ready!" well after checking in I waited 15-20 minutes outside in the cold because of the safety measures for the pandemic. I can't help that but still I'm just giving all the details. After I finally got my rental we went around did the walk around check for them to charge me $70 for "their insurance". My insurance company told them the car is gonna be covered by my insurance policy but still charged me anyways. At the time didn't know so they got over on me with that. To add on they only opened the rental car for me to use for 2 days, cool but my personal car was going to be in the shop for about a week. My insurance company had to get them to extend my rental. All together if there's any where else to get a rental car go there because this place isn't that great. read more

When I arrived to pick up the rental it was not ready. After checking out the car with an enterprise representative before taking possession, I discovered that the vehicle was not clean inside as well as outside. I was forced to stop for gas because the fuel tank was on less than a half tank of gas. It really put me behind schedule for my meeting in Anniston Alabama. The representative was not accommodating at all. I rent from Enterprise at least 5 to 7 times per year; maybe it's far time I check out the competitor for better customer service and appreciation. I've been an regular customer of Enterprise for some years now through various jobs where I travel a lot. But the experience, the customer service and the treatment I get at the location on Eastern Blvd. keeps me coming back. From the service of the manager, it trickles down to the asst managers and sales managers. They are more than accomodating, always ensure they have a vehicle for me and even in the busiest of times, they are sure to greet all customers, handle each customer as if they are the only person there and make sure everyone has a customer service experience that is 2nd to none. As long as I am in the Montgomery area, that Enterprise will be my location of choice. Kudos to Steven and the entire crew there. read more

I have only one complain, the service there is not organized. At the other renter place (not going to mention wich one) if you are a preferred customer, have a card, and rent from them all the time, your reserved car would be ready as soon you come there. At Enterprise you have to wait at least 30 min to get your reserved car. read more

This place has no idea how to manage inventory. Even with a reservation you can guarantee a 30 minute wait. Every car I've rented smells as if it has been smoked in, the maintenance isn't kept up, and I was put in a car with a cracked windshield. Don't do it. Go anywhere but here. read more
