Made a 7:30a reservation for a mid sized suv, traveling out of state for a family funeral. When we reached the location the lot was bare, went inside to check in; a man told me to wait as he would see what is available. I was a little confused as the car I made a reservation for should be available. This agent was STALLING, started helping a customer on the phone then got back to me saying he's still looking. After about 15-20m I was told there are only 2 pick up trucks and 8 mini vans. Then the agent tried telling me being that there are folks still on "holiday" with the car, they don't have what I needed. I asked about another car on the lot (a Jeep), I was told that there were 4 reversions on that class!!!! If this is the only car you have in the class but have 4 reservations on it, the other 3 people are going to be SOL??? Called the Edgewood location, no cars but a dodge charger, not the kind of car needed. We were sent to Middle River. There was no confirmation call the night before, if this location knew that had no cars available upon opening why not call the guest to let them know so they aren't traveling out of their way to be sent out another 30min?? I've been to this location before and this time I was originally scheduled to pick up a car at Light st. but they didn't have any cars available- worked out as this location is much closer. Luckily they had cars available although not in my reservation class. I found out (surprisingly) this is the largest branch in the area. Picked up a Toyota and process was seamless. The lady that helped me was friendly and said she would call when a Premium class car is available. Turned out I had the car for a month. Took this long for my car to be repaired (including parts lead time given supply and labor shortages) Unfortunately they never got a Premium car (I called to check a couple of times). That said, understandable given current shortages all around. Returning the car took about a 1/2 hour as there were a couple of customers ahead of me. Once it was my turn the inspection and check out process was quick and service was friendly. I believe they have a pick up/drop off service if needed. horrible experience with this location. vehicle was fine no problem. lousy service from the staff. assigned a new guy, he could not make a decision or communicate without 'hold on let me check with my boss' 3 times! then i asked for his boss and given Randall who gave me directions, which i followed and then he never followed up with me. Erie agreed to pay for my CLP (i think) full coverage as i only have liability and Erie insured hit me and was at fault. But I could not get the staff to call the claim adjuster and add that coverage...all pre approved i did the homework.. they would not do it. I took the truck back 10+ days early as i could not get coverage on the rental i needed thru them... i was not willing to take the risk and be out the money if an accident occured. I was stern with them and told them my experience but i think it fell on deaf ears with Noah the asst manager. so far i was not worth the time and effort for a follow up... i recommend going elsewhere. read more

Tracy the corporate representative handled me well in a simple yet effective manner. I had a psi low and I informed enterprise and Tracy took care of me without any delay. She make sure I was taken care of properly and pass down information to regular employees. Highly beyond recommend this place for fast and effective service. Langston went out of his way to help me and he did it with such honor and respect! He even made me change places with him in the parking lot, so he was closer to incoming traffic and I was protected. We used them due to their relationship with GEICO. GEICO specifically stated that we did not need the collision damage waiver because they had it covered. Enterprise and GEICO have a contractural relationship so Enterprise certainly knows this. Even so, the Enterprise rep scared my wife into buying it anyway! After an hour on the phone with Hertz I got the same answer. "I'm sorry. We don't have any cars." That was it. No cars. This is unacceptable. But apparently, it's how Hertz does business. I rented from this location earlier this month. Perhaps I had a different manager, but I had an altogether different rental experience. I arrived late in the day. Each of the staff were friendly and helpful. Ryan, the manager, waited on me personally. He looked at my rental agreement and realized that I could get a significantly better car for about $4 more. I accepted and he gave me an almost new, fully-loaded car. Ryan was a very nice guy throughout the rental and the walking review of the car. I learned that he had been an scholar athlete at a local university. Like the other reviewer, I too had a problem, because my plans changed and I ended up returning car to a different location the following day. However, when trying to resolve the matter, I had a very different experience. At different times I spoke with Ryan and various members of his staff. Each person was polite and helpful, even though this required Ryan to patiently play phone tag for more than a few days. I ended up with a positive resolution, but even if the resolution had been less so I would been pleased with the courteous and professional manner in which they attempted to address the problem. Only had one grip the vehicle wasn't clean when I picked it up but they took care of it in less than five minutes. The people are exceptional and service is quick. I called today, 2/12/18 around 4 pm and talked to a person regarding a call I received from someone claiming to be an Enterprise representative who wanted to talk to me about an accident involving my car and a red rental car. The person I talked to transferred me to Enterprise customer service. There was no option for me to talk to someone to verify. On the day of the supposed accident I never left home. I called the number left in my voice mail 1-813-898-5813 and someone's claiming to be a Enterprise representative told me they had a wrong (my) phone number. We rented a Ford Expedition 6/28/18-7/9/18. Pick up was great. Our customer service rep gave us all the details on the car. When we opened the trunk, we realized the car had not been cleaned. They were quick to get it fixed. While on our way to our trip, we had some not such pleasant things happen within the car. We had our 4 children with us so, I was not happy about the situation. After finally speaking to the manager Ryan, he graciously handled our complaint. He was amazing and understanding. I hope what happens to us is a 1 time situation that they have learned from. We recently rented a GMC Yukon, actually on two occasions this summer, to visit my son graduating Marine Boot Camp in SC and then again for another graduation in NC. We were more than pleased with the customer service and the vehicle each time. We booked through Costco travel and saved a lot on the rate. We ran into a price discrepancy when we arrived to pick up the Yukon at the Enterprise but the rep fixed it on the spot, no problem. The absolute only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 has nothing to do with customer service at the center but the way Enterprise now offers so many separate waivers. I was surprised that now I needed to accept or waive coverage if the vehicle breaks down - no fault of ours - for them to come out without a charge. That really upset me. I feel like that should be their responsibility. But again, that is corporate. The truck had all the bells and whistles, ran beautifully and we would (and have) return again for our next rental should we need one. read more

Horrible experience!!! The manager here is such a self righteous a-hole. We have rented from other enterprise locations for years. Never again. Their message talks about how they are "family owned" in a corporate world and they always treat the customer right. It's total bull. How is enterprise not corporate? They are a huge company who doesn't gift a crap about anyone. First they refused to rent to my fiancé (after we rented from enterprise twice this year) for something on his license 9 years ago! Then we were quoted $152 for 5 days. We brought the car back and he said we were supposed to return it after 3 days. After 3 days we would have still had 2 more days to go on our vacation. Obviously there was a miscommunication, but they stood strong to their ground that there is no way they could have possibly been the ones who were wrong. Instead of refunding us the $50 we were over charged, they said they'd rather lose us as customer. I would never want to work with a company who values $50 more than their customers or their reputation. This is how this location works.
