The cars looked like the came from the use car lot down the street. I canceled my reservation and drove my own vehicle because I knew it was better than what they tried to give me. Back when I was on the east coast, I rented a car from Baltimore to head to Montreal. I encountered an issue with the car when I was a few minutes north of the city, so I stopped by the Enterprise here to resolve the problem. This place did not provide the solution I wanted. They did ok, but I did not like the experience overall. They could do better. The surrounding area is not too great, either. It was not to my tastes at all, so I was glad to be out of there fast. The Enterprise at Inner Harbor did a great job in taking care of me, but clearly not all Maryland Enterprise locations are the same. read more

Very fast and easy to reserve unfortunately I was put into a rental that my insurance didn't fully cover but that 2016 Pathfinder was amazing.It had all the bells and whistles I lost something in the rental and all the staff were very friendly.The best feature is them coming to you to complete your reservation I didn't have to find a ride when dropping my car off to the shop.They accepted a money order instead of my card which is perfect I hate having holds on my account.Kudos Enterprise! read more

I just now created a Yelp account, soley because the experience I had tonight, with this Enterprise location's manager, Cameron, was that horrendous. The manager, Cameron, refused to accept a print out of my valid MD license, marriage certificate, passport, previously expired license with the same number, and several forms of valid current government issued photo ID (I recently got married in another country, and had to file paperwork there, then with the court system here, and the filed paperwork just came back, literally went straight from my attorneys office with my paperwork to car repair shop, and dropped it off. I need to file this paperwork at SSA and at the MVA to get all new identification with my new married name, which I haven't been able to do since the paperwork came back, because I've been waiting on my rental car for 8 days! But that doesn't even matter because the car rental, my legal valid ID's, and the Geico rental approval are all in my maiden name!), but Cameron wanted me to order and print out a temporary copy of my ID with my maiden name from the MVA website, which is the EXACT same thing I have, except it's not temporary one, it's my permanent and valid license with my maiden name, but I still said ok, I need to use your printer and I'll print one out right now, while I had it pulled up on my phone. Then Cameron yelled in front of everyone in the office that, "I probably got a DUI and had my license revoked the night before!!" (Hmmm well, my car has been in the shop for 8 days, I don't drink, I've never been arrested, I don't have a single point on my license, and that defamation of character could SEVERELY affect my career. I could sue Enterprise for his unwarranted and completely false outbursts, and I'd win...plus, there was a camera recording the entire thing!) It was completely uncalled for and Cameron was mad that I said it was illogical to request and print out a temporary version of the permanent version I already have. I even offered to call 911, and said he could call if he preferred, and have the local police come to Enterprise and personally run my license and confirm it to him. He screamed that Enterprise would never rent a car to me ever and to get out! It was 5:58 pm on a Friday at this point, and they close at 6pm. Got some big weekend plans Cameron?! I left, completely embarrassed and degraded, with every employee and customer staring at me. I called both Geico and Enterprise Customer Service, and both women were great! My car will be picked up from a different location at 8 am tomorrow (day 9 now of no car when all of this is covered by Geico, my car insurance company, who is paying for this rental car due to a no fault accident, so they chose the rental company, and I will NEVER choose to use Enterprise ever again.) That was the most degrading, humiliating and disrespectful experience with a businesses manager of my entire life. I worked from my home office today, since I don't have my rental car, and I can guarantee that if I went there in the suit I usually wear, instead of in my gym clothes, this would never have happened. Being incorrectly stereotyped, degraded, being randomly accused of a crime that could ruin my entire career in front of a bunch of people, screamed at and kicked out by a rental car manager...WHAT?! I always have an excellent experience the management and staff at Enterprise car rental in Edgewood. I receive a call the day before or the day of asking if I need to be picked up. The drivers are always on time, pleasant, and are engaging in conversation. They all take pride in their job. Each member at the Edgewood, MD location are professional. Not every customer is friendly when they arrive, but I have always seen the management and staff handle each customer professionally to where the unhappy customer leaves in a better mood. We will NEVER use them again! We were loyal customers we enterprise whenever we needed a vehicle. Unfortunately we had to attend a funeral and needed a passenger van. They helped us out with that but that same weekend our personal vehicle went out and we needed a weekly special. They did not try and work with us at all seeing that we just spent almost $300. After having a horrible experience at Enterprise BWI I came to this location to trade in the junker car BWI had given me. I was helped by Jake Hancock who was exceptional. He insured that I was given a safe and reliable car (unlike BWI) and ensured I was well aware of all my options/rights. He took great care of me and changed my whole opinion on Enterprise after working with him. While waiting I also saw the Asst Manager deal with a hostile customer. I was pleased to see how poised and helpful he was even though the customer was very irate and demeaning to him. He even ended the deal by giving them $10 off, which I'm sure he did not have to do. All in all I was very pleased with my experience here. read more

As a business, I hate Enterprise, but this is what my insurance was paying for. I am giving them two stars because Sean and Shaun provided excellent service in a pinch. My husband had made a reservation with the insurance company, and apparently, you have to then confirm the reservation with Enterprise. My husband was unable to do so because they do not answer their phones. Seriously, when we were there, an employee had to be TOLD to answer the phone. Since we had not confirmed our reservation, we were told there were no cars available. However, when Sean was apprised of the situation (they have a satellite office where my car was being repaired), he made sure a car was made available to us. Unfortunately, the car was in major disrepair. It made a horrible noise if you went over forty, and you had to really work to get it higher than that. I was just going to drive it around town, so I didn't take it back to avoid anymore major hassle. read more

Rented a Nissan Altima for a long week-end and received an exceptional deal Also, they picked me up at my hotel at 8:30 am to take me to their location. Julie was courteous, informative and efficient. I was visiting from California and she gave me a great overview of where I was and where to go. The other employees introduced themselves as well and asked if there was anything they could do to help. I will be seeing them again on my next trip back to Maryland. read more

We rented a vehicle this past weekend for a few days and could not have been more pleased. The location is easy to locate on rt 40 and was very clean inside. Customer service provided by Cameron Egerton while checking in and also on returning the vehicle was great! Check in was quick and all questions answered without hesitation. We have rented from this location several times in the past and will continue to use the location for rentals throughout the summer. I would recommend this location to anyone. Do not use this company - at any location. They have falsely accused us of damaging a vehicle. The company itself has been unwilling to provide information to us and has even told us that the questions we had were irrelevant. Representatives are difficult to reach and will not return phone calls. At the Edgewood location, avoid Kevin and Chris. They cannot be trusted to accurately report prior damage to the vehicle. If you use this company, record all inspections and never let the car out of your sight even to be driven through a parking lot. read more

I went through HOTWIRE.com to rent a car. Enterprise-Rent-A-Car, Edgewood, MD had the best price. I went to pick up the car. I asked, Chris Zimmerman, can someone follow me to drop my car off at the repair facility. Chris said, "they do not go into BEL AIR, MD" because there is an Enterprise company there. However, Enterprise, Bel Air did not have the same rate or would NOT honor Enterprise, Edgewood, MD rate. I decided to pay with Debit Card. Prior to all of this I did reserve a car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Bel Air, MD on Friday. Bel Air, MD did ask for the same documentation as Edgewood, MD. Before, I can rent a car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Edgewood, MD, I had to provide a COPY of my Pay stub (which have personal information), a utility bill because am paying with a DEBT card. Chris Zimmerman was very rude. I expressed to him, I did not experience the same in Bel Air, MD. He knew the repair facility. With identity theft on the rise. How can anyone ask for a COPY of your pay stud or utility bill? Especially, when Enterprise Rent-A-Car have your insurance information, Debit Car. Why would they need anything else? Why? read more

This place haggles and cheats its customer like an old used car dealership. The customer service guy, called Jake, charged me double of the rental cost without my knowledge. When I called this Enterprise office and questioned, he told me that he would adjust the balance - a few days later, I checked my credit card account, but no change was made. I am a long time customer of Enterprise and have been using the Edgewood location for almost 5 years now. Even with the almost constant transition of new people, they ALWAYS treat me with respect and professionalism.
