I'll preface this review with a disclaimer. Enterprise used to be great and I rented often from them, but something's changed. 1) Paid for a premium online. Was handed the keys to the less expensive full size and told it was a premium, even though I knew I was being lied to, I needed the car and didn't want to argue. Strike one. 2) Was given a car with a nail in the front tire and a reclined passenger seat, both indicators of poor training. Strike two. 3) When I requested to switch the car out because I was driving across country on a flat tire, I was sent an hour out of my way to an Enterprise that didn't have any vehicles, so the manager sent me to a 'closed' tire shop to get it fixed. Strike three. 4) Ended up switching out the vehicle at a different location for one I would've never picked and didn't pay for. 5) Ended up taking an Uber home after dropping off. Recommendation: Allow your customer service reps the ability to contact an Enterprise location, so they're not sending customers on a wild goose chase because they don't have a clue whether or not that facility has a vehicle available. I can't say enough on how awesome working with Enterprise in Concord, NH!! From the day I rented a car to the day I returned it; they treated me with respect!! Tom the pick up driver is so nice and holds a conversation!! I wish I could remember everyone that helped me!! Just 1st class for sure!! Enterprise should relieve this management team of their duties. I am stranded on the side of the road with 6 people in my car, and needed to get towed. I called enterprise and made a "pick me up" reservation for an SUV from the nearby location (I was routed to Hooksett, NH - not Concord, via their corporate representative). I received a call back 15 minutes later from Hooksett rep stating that they would like to provide me the rental, but because I was in CONCORD's "territory" (couldn't be more than a mile or two from the territory line) only Concord could provide me the vehicle unless Concord gave Hooksett "permission" to pick me up. Concord doesn't have the right size vehicle to fit all my passengers (wife and kids), they only have small vehicles and would not "permit" the Hooksett rep I had been working with all along, to help me out by providing me their vehicle via roadside pickup. Absolutely ridiculous and inhumane of the Concord location to deny Hooksett the opportunity to serve a customer truly in need. Horrible people at the Concord location, obviously. Congratulations Enterprise; you lost out on this business and all potential future business due to this. P.S. - I travel for business, and rent multiple vehicles per week. This is the second time enterprise gave me a reservation had me drive all way to concord 45 min drive to tell me they had no vehicle for me . What kind of business is this,this is a fair question. Had my truck going in near by for some body work & my insurance co. set me up with a car through this location. An employee contacted me within minutes of getting reservation & had me hooked up in minutes & had car ready & waiting at repair location the day I needed it & took care of working directly with ins, co. when I needed car a few extra days with no issues. I'd use this location again in the future! read more

I have used Enterprise on a number of occasions over the years, as has my daughter. I have found nearly everyone to be helpful, courteous and friendly. The cars are always clean and shiny. My only issue is with their telephone system. I tried repeatedly to get through to my local office, only to be put on hold repeatedly, switched around, waited, etc. When I finally did reach someone who could help me we got disconnected! When I brought this to the manager's attention she clued me in to a "secret number" that you can use to reach her. Since then I have had much less trouble. read more

Just left the very unhelpful crew at this joke of a rental place. I made a reservation with my debit card online yesterday, this morning I took a $60 cab ride from my hotel just to find out I need a major credit card to reserve a car. I'm now in that same $60 cab headed back to my hotel. The trip cost more than the rental would have been. Absolute joke, I travel every weekend and have never had this problem. I have a direct problem with the Concord, NH Enterprise office, and after I finally get my rental will never rent from them again. I reserved a car to pick up at 3pm on Sunday via the website with zero problems. I could have gotten there earlier, but there were no problems with the reservation so I felt confident I could pick up my car at the agreed time. When I got there at 2:59, the door was locked. A woman came out and told us that the safe holding the rental keys was locked for the day and I was unable to get my rental. Now I am stuck without a car until they open at 8am, and my morning plans are ruined. Either good customer service (by providing service at the web-agreed time) or a better website (that doesn't allow reservations close to closing time) would both have solved this problem. read more

I have no direct problem with the Concord, NH Enterprise office but will never rent from Enterprise again. Why? Flew to Milwaukee on Christmas day - arrived after 7 PM in a sudden snow storm to find that they have put me on their "Do not rent" list. Seems that they think I owe them money for the cost of repairs to a car I rented in LA back in 2009 - a window was smashed and some personal items stolen. Never mind that they harassed me by telephone for payment of that bill (my American Express card covered it but that takes time). After Amex paid the claim they did not contact me again. Now they say the full amount remains unpaid - I called to try to fix this and spent almost an hour switching to three people only to finally get to the LAX contact person - who called me back in a few minutes to tell me I had to deal with "Corporate" and offering me a phone number! I was driving at the time and said never mind. Later went to their web page and emailed them to send me the address for "Corporate" because I will not try to deal with this on the phone. Their response was that they will not deal with this issue in writing. Nothing in writing, hummmmmm. Wonder why? Also, the person at the counter at the Milwaukee Airport was rude to me and my wife. So, we usually rent from Enterprise several times a year for a week or more. Nice move Enterprise - you have lost years of recurring business over a $275 error. We rented a car to take our daughter to Washington, DC for a Summer internship. We had a noon pick-up time, but when we got there on a Saturday at 12:05, we found that they closed at noon. I had called to confirm that morning, and a woman at the site confirmed our reservation for noon - without warning us that they closed at noon that day! Fortunately, when we knocked on the window the assistant manager, Bryan Bower, came to the door. We explained our plight and Bryan invited us in and personally handled the reservation. He made sure we were good to go and also handled our return very professionally. In this time of generally poor customer service at most businesses, it was refreshing to find a professional who took ownership of an issue and resolved it. We'll rent from this location again. P.S. Rented from the Enterprise in Concord many times for business and I am happy with their service. Only downside is on occasion when they are very busy I might get a car that hasn't been cleaned yet on the inside or out. Been there a couple of times when they didn't have the vehicle I requested so they upgraded me to the next level up which is no problem for me. read more

Staff is always friendly and willing to accommodate when they can. They do not have a lot of different cars to choose from, and are priced higher than their competitors across the board. I rent on the average at least 2 weeks per month for business, and would think there would be some type of "perks". The cars are very rarely cleaned on the inside other than a vacuum, generally sticky residue from food on console, film on the windows that an attempt was made to wipe off. They are clearly very busy and could use a larger lot, more cars, and more help. They tell me the prices are based on demand. Once I was asked to pay $75 for a Corolla per day because it was NASCAR weekend. Really?????? They got it down for me a bit, but not by much, maybe by $5 per day. Only game in town, need I say more? read more

This last transaction involved my needing a car for a four day period, but only needing to drive it for two of the days so Jess worked to get me the best rate possible. Working with Enterprise Concord, NH was an unfortunate experience. I ordered a van from Enterprise Lebanon by phone the day before and they said no problem, but by the time I got home that night there was a message that they didn't have a van available. So I ordered online from Enterprise Concord and asked for it at 9:00 am so I could confirm they had one at 8:00am before I got a ride all the way down there. I called at 8:00 and was told by Mona that there would be a van for me at 9:00. When I got there at 9:00, no van. They asked me to wait for an hour and they would get me one from Tilton. I waited an hour and 15 minutes and they gave me a HUGE van! I was moving my 22 year old daughter to Richmond, VA. They don't let you drop the van in Richmond and switch to a car, so I had to drive that HUGE thing all the way back empty (and fill it with gas!). It was well beyond our needs and scary to drive. Enterprise should not tell customers that they have vehicles that they really do not have. The people who work there are very nice, but they don't tell the truth and jerk customers around. They gave my van to a woman at 8:00 who wanted an extra long and took 2 vehicles instead without making a plan to meet my needs. That's 2 unhappy customers! read more
