I rented a car at the Ehrenfeld location, a neighborhood of Cologne, Germany. I would highly recommend the Ehrenfeld location because the staff is so attentive and friendly, the prices are generally lower than at the main train station, and it is convenient: an S-Bahn train takes you to within one block of the rental office. On-site they have a roomy parking lot. When possible they offer a choice of vehicles from that lot, so you can examine the choices before committing.
The best aspect of service at the Ehrenfeld location is the staff's willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty. For example, one of the managers dropped off at our apartment a garage door opener I accidentally had left in the car when I returned the vehicle. That favor was very considerate and allowed us to keep our itinerary on schedule.
I definitely will continue to rent from the Ehrenfeld location on future visits to Cologne. read more
