A $3.50 Uber to an Incredible Massage I was on a June sold out cruise. This is absolutely "not" a code word massage location. This is a legitimate rejuvenating experience. It was two women traveling but we are used to international travel. This was my 10+ plus cruise to Ensenada but my first massage exploration. There's so much to do here. Q: Is Ensenada Massage worth leaving the cruise port? Absolutely. If you have several hours in port, this was one of the best ways to spend them. I was able to enjoy a fantastic massage and still had enough time to get my nails done elsewhere before returning to the ship. Q: Should I book through the cruise line? No. Make your reservation directly with Ensenada Massage. The ship's "excursion" prices don't even compare. Save your money and invest in yourself. Q: What's the easiest way to get there? Take an Uber. It was only about $3.50 each way, and the driver picked us up and dropped us off right at the port entrance. You still have to walk to the ship another 5-7 minutes.Don't pay the extra transportation fee through the massage company or ship. It's not within walking distance from the cruise terminal, but Uber made it effortless. One extra tip: I walked about 7-10 minutes from the gangway to the Hotel Corona and requested my Uber from there. Wait time was under five minutes. Q: How was communication with Ensenada Massage? Excellent. They were very responsive on WhatsApp and answered every question quickly. Although they offered to reserve through WhatsApp, I felt more comfortable booking online with my credit card instead of using my debit card. Q: Can groups book together? Yes! I booked a couples massage even though we were just friends because it was easier to coordinate than making two separate appointments. They can even accommodate four people at the same time. Q: Which massages did you choose? I booked one deep tissue massage and one hot stone massage. They also offer several optional upgrades for around $10 each if you want to customize your experience. Q: How was the massage itself? High fives. Two snaps. Hip bump. Cha-ching. The therapists may be petite, but don't let that fool you. Their hand strength was incredible. From the warm greeting to the end of the session, the experience was professional, relaxing, and absolutely worth it. Q: What was the facility like? It was clean, safe, and well sanitized. No, it isn't a luxury spa with marble floors and stained-glass windows, but everything was comfortable, professional, and exactly what I wanted. I would happily return. Q: Is this safe for first-time visitors to Ensenada? Yes. If you've traveled internationally before, this will feel very easy to navigate. Even if it's your first visit to Mexico, I found the experience straightforward and felt comfortable throughout. Final tip: Skip the cruise ship spa. This place is often visited by tourists due to its affordable pricing and great massages. They also offer transportation near the cruise ship terminal, which is about a 10 minute walk. There were two mini vans waiting and my bf and I were able to sit in our own transportation vehicle. After a short ride, we waited for a bit and were led to the couple room next to the waiting room. The issue with this was that we can hear the customers waiting outside talking. We had to ask the masseuses to ask the customers to lower their voices. My masseuse was a female and she was so strong! I was almost to the point where it was intolerable but I powered through! She took out a lot of knots! Great massage for the price point and people were super friendly. Our cruise ship was making a stop in Ensenada and we've been here several times. I don't know if you have made the same visit before, but the downtown area of Ensenada can get quite chaotic and crazy. One of the popular things to do is to go to one of the bars, take a shot and one of the big beefy guys will pick you up turn you upside down and shake you. It's a very odd place. Now the other thing to do here is to try some of the street food, they have amazing ceviche and tacos so if you haven't done that before that obviously needs to be on your list too. There are a couple museums here too- #1 is part of the convention center and is literally across the street from the cruise port exit so that would be an easy one to do on your own- they apparently have the bar where the first margarita was made. There's also a ride you can take out of town to see one of the natural blow holes in the stones near the ocean. But if you've done all these things and you're looking for something a little more serene, might I recommend Ensenada massage? They will pick you up just outside of the cruise port exit- they were there exactly when they said they would be and it is about a 15 minute drive across town to their location. Now this is not a five star spa, but it was clean, it was organized and the therapists were very professional. Since we have been to the blow hole numerous times we changed it up.. Saw the reviews in a cruise fb page for this massage place in Ensenada and decided to take a chance. Not only did I book a couples massage but two other couples we were with booked the same ( one even had a four handed massage!) We were picked up at the port ( a little late- but none the less) and driven to their office. Was not upscale by USA standards but was welcoming. The massage however was one of the best we have ever had! All six of us said that this was so worth the money and that if we were ever back in Ensenada, we would do it again in a heartbeat. They then drove us into town for lunch and shopping. It was very easy booking the massages and even easier when we got there! Since we had rented an Airbnb, I wanted the therapists to come to the house. The date was confirmed, and I paid the deposit. I had a really great experience this morning, with a 90 minute deep tissue massage. I arrived a little early, but was seen immediately. The staff person who greeted me spoke in English and introduced me to the massage therapist, who I mostly spoke with in Spanish. The receptionist conveyed the things I had asked for to the massage therapist. The room had a little bit of street noise, but the music during the massage covered that up nicely. I feel so much better-- driving from the Central Coast of California was a long drive and the massage really hit the spot. We booked a 90 min couples massage because of all the great reviews on yelp. We were picked up in a silver minivan with a blue logo on the side by a very friendly woman named Katia. She drove us to Ensenada massage while giving us a quick tour of the area. She was great! Once there, we went up to the couples massage room which was simple but relaxing. We both thoroughly enjoyed the massage but there were a couple of not great things. First off, the massage oil they used was lemon scented which was nice but it had a very medicinal smell to it. And they used a ton! I had to scrub twice to get if off. Secondly, the music was way too loud next to my head. My husband said it was quiet on his side so I think it was just the placement of the speaker. All and all, it was a nice relaxing way to spend the day in Ensenada. I went here with a group of friends, 8 of us total. We were split into 2 rooms of 4. Jesse (the owner) can pick you up and drop you off from the cruise port area which is amazing, otherwise it's about a 30-40 min walk. We walked there and he drove us back to the main shopping area near port. Susie was my masseuse. I've had a lot of great massages in the states but Susie was 10/10. If you like a heavier hand then definitely get deep tissue for the extra $10. It was worth it. A few of my friends wish they did after they heard me say it was so great. For a 90 min massage with a group of 8 our massages were each around $50-70 pp depending on the add ons we chose. Can't beat the price. read more

We purchased vis Ensenada Excursion & Tours. Went on an all girls trip for a Bday on 03/01/25. They picked us up from the cruise on time with a custom sign. I had a disappointing experience with the service and cannot recommend it to anyone. Our cruise excursion was canceled, so we looked for an activity to do and stumbled upon this place. We decided to book a 90-minute couple's massage and walked here from the port to explore Ensenada, which took around 45 minutes. We chose the couple's massage for a relaxed and romantic environment, but unfortunately, this was not the case during the massage session. We could hear people talking and making random noises downstairs, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the massage. Additionally, the massage itself was nothing special and fell short of our expectations, despite reading positive reviews beforehand. Even after asking for firmer pressure, the massage was still just a light touch/in some area. Furthermore, we found the pricing to be deceptive. When booking through the English website, the 90-minute couple's massage was advertised as $144. However, when we changed the language to Spanish, the price was listed as $2,299 pesos ($127). I was very much looking forward to my massage. I had booked a couples massage to celebrate my 10th anniversary, and the pick up shuttle was late. We booked an afternoon appointment, which would have allowed 30-45 minutes for us to get back to our boat after our 1 hour massage. Since the shuttle was late, we were cutting into that time buffer. We sat there for 20 after getting past the receptionist, without being spoken to. The party before us was allowed 30 extra minutes which again, cut into our time. We ultimately had to cancel the very much anticipated massage and ask to be taken back. Very very disappointing experience considering the time wasted while on vacation. read more
