Chocolate budino dessert

Tonight I came to conclude that, in my humble opinion, one of the top two chefs in the State of Idaho is running the show at Enoteca! I ordered the olives, burrata, and the rack of lamb with some ice cold beer on tap to boot. Burrata is a dish I order often and the execution of this one immediately got my attention. This was all prepared exquisitely and the flavors played a symphony. The exact same description applies to the rack of lamb, served with some berry reduction, mint, local mushrooms, and an out of this world potatoes au gratin. Of note, the potatoes were a true homage to the state's most famous crop! And the lamb, sourced locally, of delightful quality. Please see my pics of the perfect pink lamb chops that I cut down from the rack. That ambiance is warmly lit, dim, and very cozy. I had a booth by the window decked out with multiple soft pillows. Not knowing any restaurant in Ketchum, the ambiance I saw in online pics was a big draw for me and it didn't disappoint. Service was on point; enough said: it's 5 stars!

An absolute culinary Jewel in our town. Service, food and ambiance are quite perfect. We always enjoy our visits here, many daily specials are available in addition to great menu and wine list. Very enjoyable to dine and visit with friends here....

Great food but taking off a point for ambiance and seating. First time I went I put a credit card down to make a reservation. We were given such a small table it was hard to relax. Second time, I put my name down for a bar seat. Waited around 2 hours, as people were just sitting there forever, long after they were done. Bar seats were also closely packed together. Loved the food including the trout and the pizza. Panna Cotta dessert was amazing. Would recommend but not for big groups (more than 2 people)

Best restaurant in Ketchum! The service was spectacular. Service was amazing food top notch , we sat at the bar where we could see the chef perform his magic, the wife and I had a great time. Super good vibe. All the staff including the manager was super friendly

Special Pizza

Cozy wine bar with wood fired pizzas and more upscale entree options as well. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. For a starter, we tried their winter salad which was also amazing - topped with squash, beets, pecans, Gorgonzola and likely one of the best salads I've ever had. We tried the special pizza which had chicken, shrimp, bacon, banana peppers, and a pesto drizzle. It was perfectly crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. Tip: definitely make a reservation. This place is very popular among both the locals and tourists!

Bacon-wrapped dates

Absolutely delicious, one of the best spots in town! First of all, make a reservation! A week in advance is good. However, they were kind about trying to fit in newcomers. Bacon-wrapped dates were phenomenal! Salmon special was perfectly cooked.

Sometimes it pays to be a solo diner. I am in Sun Valley for the Writers' Conference and it had been a long hot, intellectually stimulating, but very busy Sunday, for the record i looked like a rag-a-muffin. A local friend recommended this wine bar and I remember coming in with my dad in 2017 and getting the most awesome pizza and wine. This place was clearly booked solid and groups without reservations were getting turned away in droves. I decided to be bold and inquire about a spot for one at the bar anyway, prepared to be turned away. The lovely hostess frowned at her reservation book... "I will eat fast. " I prodded and i think i committed to being in and out in 25 minutes. She smiled and said she would see what she could do. A guy, who I think was the manager came to tell her that chef was slammed and laughed when she told him I would be gone in 25 minutes... " Are you eating , or just here for a drink?" I confirmed the former and things were not looking good for me. Then he looked up and took pity on me. The hostess led me to a bar stool and I contemplated the menu wedged between two couples. I was so happy to be there and the bar staff was phenomenal. I ordered one of the Specials- Northwest Petrale Sole with Basmati rice and a watermelon/ jicama salsa. My iced tea glass was refilled constantly and I just kept gulping it down. My meal was the best one I have eaten this summer. I have always been impressed with the restaurants in the Ketchum/Sun Valley area and particularly innovative pairings of local fish and game and produce. My plate was gorgeous and the fish was perfectly grilled crisp, but flaky/ delicate, just as sole should be. The piece was small but quite thick. The added crunchiness from the cool watermelon and mild nuttiness of the jicama played well with the delicate fluffy rice. Watermelon alone would have been overly sweet and adding light starchy jicama and slightly bitter wilted spinach was a revelation. Tiny pecan pieces sprinkled on the edge of the plate brought more crunch and especially complimented the fluffy scattered rice. Being a Bsy Area girl, I am often underwhelmed by meals when I travel. My plan had been to hit a grocery store and put together a quick charcuterie paper plate to eat in my room. I am so glad that I didn't shrink away from having a great experience, just because I was traveling alone. If I had come in with a date, or friend, I never would have gotten to try Enoteca again! Thank you so much to the awesome staff. This place seemed to be a good mix of tourists and locals. I feel super lucky to have had the chance to have a seat at the table... er sorry at the bar.

Lamb chops, so good

Enoteca was our favorite restaurant in Ketchum. The atmosphere and service are awesome. I had the lamb chops, they were some of the best I've ever had. My friends had the duck confit, they licked their plates, also the chicken dish was a hit. Our salads were excellent as well. The wine list had some good Italian wines, we had two bottles. Our server was so good, she knew her wines. I wish this restaurant was in SF, I can't wait to come back on my next visit. Although we didn't have the pizzas I will order next time. Do make reservations ahead, was hard to get in. We ended the meal with a nice glass of port.

Delicious food and good service! Our waiter and host had great recommendations. The space is a little tight, but we didn't mind.

What an awesome experience at SV Wine Company! We made reservations (recommended) for dinner and…read morewalked away with a plan to return three days later before departing town. Yes, it's just that good. We began with some wine selections and the Goat Cheese appetizer. The Goat Cheese was adorned with a cranberry and pear relish and served with bread. It was so delicious. There was literally nothing left. For our entrees, we enjoyed the Idaho Trout and Beef Short-rib. The trout had a nice panko almond crust and was served with roasted potatoes. The short-rib was served over polenta with roast veggies--purple cauliflower, carrot and broccoli. Shoutout to Dexter and the other staff for making our experience the best!

I loved my plate but I think i would have thoroughly enjoyed each entree. I did get a beer which I know is very counter to this restaurant, but they had a great selection of craft beers for those who are not as into wine. Really nice small restaurant with nice decorations. Nothing too special about the decorations other than the display of wine bottles. Highly recommend!
