We ordered the Esszimmer tasting menu which was more seafood centric and came out with the amuse Boucher and another added course to 9 courses. Everything hit its mark and was just the loveliest. It's not a pretentious restaurant, I've had American Michelin starred restaurants like Manresa and Providence and those bored me and were disappointing. The chocolate mousse for dessert made from Valhorna chocolate was amazing and, I tasted the chocolate fondant which was cooked to perfection and tasted absolutely divine. Only a minor point but, the service was a little bit slow at times and our excellent hostess made up for it with her patience in explaining the menu and checking up on us regularly. I thought I was in a michelin starred restaurant in Paris for a while ;-)) As it turns out the chef has worked in many well know starred restaurants and this was clearly seen in the food.
