I'm from Austin; my family regularly visits Santa Fe for the beautiful landscape and delicious food. We have EXCELLENT record shops here, and I can confidently say that Lost Padre could easily fit in with the rest of the classic Austin record shops. Lost Padre had reasonable prices on their CDs and Vinyl; I purchased two records and a CD for less than 30 dollars. The man behind the register (which I assume owns the place) was polite and willing to share his knowledge, which is not a constant at just any record shop for some reason. Wilder has enough variety to be enticing for that reason alone. Of course "art" is an awfully personal thing and your tastes are yours alone, but a stop here is well worth your time.
