At this particular moment in time, this assistance is critical, it's easy to list the many reasons why seniors MUST be tech savvy: + Online prescription orders + Groceries and food delivery + Staying in contact with loved ones, particularly if visitation isn't an option + Email and other information channels I just read that for a limited time, the organization will offer free one-on-one video conference classes, and even at normal cost ($39, low-income is $25 per hour) this life training is very fairly priced. My nephew has attended Pathways Academy for the past year as a fifth grader. He previously…read moreattended public school in Rio Rancho with disastrous results. This school has been absolutely perfect for our family since he was diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum as being a child with High-Functioning Autism. He is not in a special education classroom and is not on an IEP and does not need to be at this school. The school treats each child as an individual and educates them to their specific needs and abilities. The school has a four-day school week and there is no homework being brought home. My nephew has been allowed to advance at his own level, even up to the next grade level, and does not have the stigma of being treated like he is in special education. All children are on a behavior management program where they are rewarded for good behavior and he is frequently going on field trips. Bullying is treated appropriately and I'm ecstatic to hear my nephew be able to actually say for the first time that he has "friends." He has sensory issues with clothes and is allowed to wear clothes that are comfortable to him. I like this school because my nephew is treated like a capable child and for the first time in his life is enjoying school and really likes his teachers. It's a pleasure to see him come home from school in a good mood and a lot of his behavioral issues at home have greatly decreased since he has been enrolled at this school. I would totally recommend this school to any parent who has a child on the autism spectrum and/or has ADHD/ADD, or has any type of learning disability.

I noticed onetime that the coach was not giving every student the same attention as the obviously good one but that was the only time I saw that happen and they took the time to listen to my concerns so I felt heard. When I was studying music in Europe I asked a European pianist how so many of them all have such an…read moreeffortless mastery of music and can sing the notes without hearing them on an instrument. She replied that they start ear training at a very young age of two to four years. I just happen to be in a position to test the theory through the Pajarito, Yamaha music school. And well, so far, my 5 year old is singing along great with her piano lessons, and my 2 year old chimes in "do re mi" right in tune. Yamaha is a world renowned technique that requires very specialized and certified teachers who follow a curriculum that has been developed over several decades and constantly upgrades to include the latest and greatest in music pedagogy. There is only one Yamaha music program in the region so people come from as far as Los Alamos to take lessons. This is more than just a piano playing class. This technique is catered toward developing the whole musician. They start with listening, and singing and playing all at once so that eventually the student can hear in his or her mind what the notes sound like before they play which opens a superb appreciation for music and can provide the foundation for exceptional performance if the kid decides to go down that path. There is also a large emphasis on playing as an ensemble which develops an ability to work with and respond to others. I was personally amazed at how fast my daughter went from having no concept of pitch to singing simple figures ("do re mi" etc.) precisely in tune in just one or two lessons. She now sings the pitches before she plays them on the piano prooving that she somehow grasps the language of music in a very real and internalized way.

They have no formal training on infant development and especially infant socio-emotional development. There were always subs so I had to leave my daughter with people I did not know. One of the subs did not even speak English. She left my baby unattended on top of a changing table and that was my last straw. The director Sarah does a good job of marketing the place and is kind of like a used car salesman. The campus is beautiful though.
