Unfortunately, we had a family member pass away last year and began working with this place to have a stone placed for our loved one. We were working with Scott, who has the worst communication skills and has no sense of accountability. We placed an initial deposit to have the plaque created and designed. It took weeks of email correspondence to receive any feedback and examples of what the plaque would look like. Once the plaque was finally in after about 3-4 months of having to initiate communication, we expected the plaque would be placed. Scott was asked if the plaque would be in the ground by Memorial Day weekend. He stated it would. Well, it wasn't. When we spoke to the cemetery, they told us the process takes one to two weeks and that Scott knew this. The individual we spoke to told us he was trying to put the blame on them, which was not right at all. In dealing with Scott, everything was always someone else's fault. During one conversation, he blamed a delay on the "front office." He must have taken us for fools because there are only two people who work in the office and he's the only one who seems to pick up the phone when you call. What "front office?" Really Scott? Since we don't live in Endicott, we had to do all communications with the office via phone. If you don't live in the area and you have the unfortunate circumstance of having a loved one pass away, I would not deal with Endicott Artistic Memorial at all. Go somewhere else. If you're local, you can at least go there in person and harass them to ensure things get done, but then again, who wants that headache? This place deserves ZERO stars. read more

Ghastly place. Arrogant, unfriendly, impatient, sullen. Treat customers as nuisances. Make it clear they don't want to be bothered with you. Never again, not even over my dead body. ... and if you care about convenience, forget it. They don't email and they don't accept credit cards. Creepy place. I paid Endicott Artistic Memorial hundreds of dollars 9 months ago to engrave the date of death on a family member's existing headstone. I have called multiple times to inquire why the service has not been completed, and it's been one excuse after another...too cold, too wet, too hot, "I haven't even done the big cemeteries"....none of these are acceptable reasons not to perform your job over so many months. I will be following up with the consumer fraud department at the State Attorney General's office. read more

I would give a zero if i was able. My mom was murdered in 2009 and all of the other places we had to deal with including the news paper, funeral home, due to the circumstances they helped us in regards to the prices of things. The owner of artistic memorial didn't even care or show any kind of simpathy let alone take anything off of the price. I have been to my moms stone and noticed that it is tilted back so far it looks like it is about to fall, also the bottom granite piece it not connected to the top stone. So i called the owner asking him to please fix the problem. After 2 weeks and 6 phone calls he did attempt to fix the foundation where the cement slab is to even it out. If i want the stone connected properly he informed me i would need to pay $35. He is all about money. Nothing more. I paid $1000 with donations for my mothers stone one of the checks from someone who donated bounced and the owner is trying to tell me I am responsible for the bounced check and the fee. He is very rude and telling me he is going to take me to small claims court. Not a pleasant business to do business with. read more
