The school has a very poor special ed program set up and if you have a child with ASD that is…read morehigh-functioning this is not a good school for them. We've had multiple teachers have breakdowns crying during the IEP meetings. Teachers are too bougie with staff and treat the place more of a social Center then a school. They have little or no control over students. We know from experience that you can elope from that school pretty easy with there no hands policy. The whole school Norris district is just crap, no support for ASD no support for families. All they want to do is send your kids to institutes or County facilities. No wonder people are quitting jobs and homeschooling their kids. This is been our second experience at bimat please if you do have a ASD kid please do not subject them to this school, they're very untrained unequipped and constantly ask us for help. I understand asking for help but a teacher has chosen that job they chosen to go school they are the expert.I should be asking them questions not the other way around . They tell you they have all these educated experts and out of all these educated experts you might get one or two that actually understand what's goin on and will listen. Make sure you get with hearts connection Valley achievement and card get as much support as you can before you enter any school district. So for all the autistic kids out there and parents struggling avoid the Heartbreak but if you do go here have a good crew with you. Kids legal.com I know all your rights before you do any IEP and do not sign any IEP. Until you understand it completely. Cheers I wish more schools had Yelp would help us parents

My daughter is in her second year here. She is the youngest of four kids (we have 3 grown adult…read morechildren as well) and I have done any number of public school, homeschooling and privately schooling with all of them - depending on the individual needs and learning styles of each child. That being said, this school is exactly what we were hoping for with our youngest. It isn't snobby or snooty. Good, hard working, normal folks bring their kids here and it doesn't feel like a country club mom clique (IYKYK). The class sizes are very small. The teachers really know your kid and hold your kid accountable. We needed something in between homeschool and public school (we tried both), and this is it for us. I feel like everyone at this school loves her, but they also don't let her get away with any shenanigans either. It's stricter than public school and for that I am so grateful. I am able to be in as much contact as I want or need with the teachers and the administrators. They do fun things (they have a junior high dance, some sports like volleyball, basketball, football) and go to Hume Lake for example. They have chapel every Friday and parents are invited to come...it's lovely. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the teachers and the staff. On top of that I love that she studies the Bible and is growing spiritually here as well. I also was shocked at how reasonable the tuition is here compared to pretty much most of the other private schools in town. The academic level is pretty rigorous - definitely beyond private school level. But with smaller class sizes there is more attention given to each kid. It's small, cozy, welcoming and we are very happy with it.

My child has been attending 4 years. I love this school, the teachers, and staff. Office staff is…read morenot rude they listen to your concerns and acknowledge you . Show that they appreciate the investment you are making and that you chose this school. Teachers have taught my child so much beyond just an education, they reflect the love of Christ. They genuinely enjoy their jobs and love the kids, I am forever grateful for all they do for my child! Highly recommend.
