I really don't get all of the negative reviews on this store because if you honestly expect a little souvenir/convenience store to be adequately priced when it's literally located next to the elevators of Encore's guest rooms, then you have got to be kidding me. Come prepared to drop a bit of cash if you are looking for basic goods. But you're staying at encore, so these rates should not surprise you at all... Contrary to most of the reviews here, I really liked the shop. I came in looking for a t shirt but found that the sizing was a bit too small and the selection far too few for my liking. They did have an end of season sale so if you wanted to buy some shirts and hats from Encore Beach Club or Xs you totally could. We didn't want to look like promoters on the strip though, so we passed on that. The boyfriend did buy me an adorable white Wynn logo hat with rose gold embroidery for $28. I also ended up purchasing a couple Wynn branded chocolate bars for $4-5 a pop. It's covid. The hotels need our money now more than ever. We had no issue paying for these prices. The employees here are nice and definitely not intrusive which I always appreciate. Best part about this store is that it is open 24/7! I definitely would have purchased a few more paraphernalia but didn't want to come home with too many goodies. Maybe next time! (38/100--2020) read more

Today(July 4, 2023, @8:10pm), we visited the Encore Hotel and decided to get some chips from this store. When we are about to pay. I saw my children start putting candies on the countertop. I told them not to get no more candies. Because we just got back from the Hershey Store and got a full plastic bag of chocolate. One of the cashiers just rolls her eyes at me and did it several times. I got really upset and asked why she giving me a face. Instead of apologizing she still gives me that bad attitude. To get it worst her co-worker told her to call the security. I am like what a freaked. Seriously? Their excuse is that she not feeling well. I will not recommend going to this store. Bad customer service. I hope they get the Karma. read more

This is a little store in the Encore by the elevators that take you up to the guest rooms in the tower. It sells, alcohol, bottled drinks, cigars, snacks, candy, souvenirs, etc. I stopped in a couple of times during my trip and while it's not cheap it's very convenient. Each time the staff was friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to be helpful and answer questions. I had never had a Chuao chocolate bar before and let me tell you, that won't be my last one. Yum! read more

Everything was pricey in here, because well....it's Encore/Wynn, so it's to be expected. I needed water and even a bottle of that was expensive. My husband wanted a cigar so he was brought to behind the counter to choose his cigar, there were many options, it took him a good half hour to decide. Absolutely horrendous manager. I was just there right now (9-30). We were just looking at the phone chargers and were trying to see if the one we were about to purchase was compatible with the iphone. The manager came at us yelling not to open it with the WORST attitude. I told him calmly " you don't have to be rude about it, we weren't opening it" and he had the worst attitude telling us he wasn't rude and insisted we were opening it. If he had common sense and looked at my YSL garment bag he maybe would've put two and two together that I spent a lot of money at YSL and didn't need to steal his 10 dollar charger. I wanted to have some drinks back in the room, and just kick back for a while. We walked over to the Encore Sundries inside the Encore and I could not believe the prices of liquor, so inflated. A small picture frame was priced at $22.00 dollars. Decided to to walk across the street, where there is a Liquor store and a Walgreen's. I purchased a brush and snacks at Walgreen's. The prices at the liquor store were so affordable compared to the liquor prices at the Encore sundries which are triple the price. save your self some money and go to abc stores or walgreens! read more

Dear Steve Wynn, I'm not one to write bad reviews but when you're paying top dollar for a SINGLE apple for 2 bucks and by your second bite into the apple, you come to find that it's ROTTING from the inside out, that is just unacceptable! Here I expected cute tchatchkies and mementos and fancier souvenirs than one would find in a tacky shop on the Strip - and I expected way higher prices than at tacky shops on the Strip and, guess what! My assessment of this small shop off the Encore lobby was spot-on!!! Here you will find lovely lotions and potions and cute toys and stuffed animals for the kids, cards and gift items for folks back home, and essential toiletries you might have forgotten to pack. Sure, the prices are higher than at Walgreens but do you really want to walk 10 minutes outside to save a few bucks on a tube of toothpaste? Judgement call. I've been to this place on two separate trips in the last few years. The last time I went it didn't seem to have as many elegant female items it became more universal. My gal pal & I have still been dying to return to Vegas for a few things, (the food ofcourse) and one main reason is to go to this gift shop. They have the best accessories also when you call they remember if you request more accessories like they had a few years ago they said they can resupply. People love gifts from this place in our history. One of a kind things. They're expensive, but elite lovely things especially when you share the Sundries box. It brings a little classy vaycay feel. Also for any fragile items ask about shipping. In our experience they're able to assist for delegate items and help hunt down anything else needed. They'll usually have elegant memorable one of a kind lil things very feminine. They may surprise from mirrors to barrettes, classy designs on things. There's a robe they were displaying that we wished we bought at the time. It was expensive like at least maybe $250. But when you still both want something so much five years later ...yea, lol so we are dying to get one but sounds like they could order it in advance prior to my trip so that I would need to wait and get it live (so beautiful & silky with butterflies on it.) Also they'll have great hats, flip flops, sometimes cute jewelry...They also have functional male items cigars and liquor store items; everything else you may need crave or have forgotten at home. Yes my dear friend (both of us parents busy separate lives lol yet) we've been planning in our dreams my next work schedule and her need to travel as my assistant. We did this together about 7 years ago. Seriously, If your going to complain about the prices @ the WYNN ENCORE, Sundries...then I'm guessing you cannot afford to stay there nor afford a REAL Vegas trip. Who doesn't know that the prices in the Hotel "Gift Shops" are marked way up? My only regreat about not going to the store sooner was seeing all the great stuff they had to offer after I had lost my cash at the tables.lol If you really love some of the room goodies that are offered, I recommend hitting the Sundries. You could save a buck or two. The "wine well" is an awesome amenity to have at your disposal. My friend bought a couple of Asahi's and chilled them to perfection! The staff was attentive and polite. Especially when my it came to assisting me in a hurry. My daughter happen to get sick and have a fever. I had to buy a forehead thermometer and children's motrin. Kudos to the staff!! read more

I was browsing through places I've been on yelp and I remembered Sundries. I was shocked at all these bad reviews because me and my best friend had the polar opposite experience! Lets get this out of the way: its expensive. If you check into the Wynn or the Encore, things are going to be expensive, I don't know what to tell you. We went in for souvenirs and a few necessities over the course of our two stays at the Encore. The customer service was INCREDIBLE both times!! As someone who works in customer service myself, these people treated us with respect and care. We were really looking forward to coming in and seeing what was new the second time we stayed at the encore. We even shouted it out in our little video blog. What a mine field, ordinary items marked up at 3x, 4x the normal price without any price tags. The only way to know if your water bottle is going to cost you an arm and a leg is to take it to the counter. Unless absolutely necessary, don't buy things from this place. You will have a receipt in triple digits for the bottle of wine that you could get for $10. Craving something sweet at 2am and not wanting to leave the hotel again, we braved the insane markups here. I should have just walked down to the nearest 24-hr drugstore, of which there are many, on both sides of the strip. I knew things were going to be expensive and accepted it; that's not my issue with this place. We were paying a premium for not wanting to go out. Most items are not marked with their prices; again, this is an annoyance but not the deal-breaker. The thing that bothered me is that when I took an unmarked item up to ask how much it was, the cashier immediately began ringing it up and telling me how much I owed (incidentally, $6.50 for a 2.8oz/80g candy bar). She did not even ask me if I still wanted it. I did, but that's not the point. It was totally rude and presumptuous to just start ringing me up. It made me uncomfortable and it would have been hard to say no if I had changed my mind about the purchase after hearing the price. Especially after having read about and been dazzled by Steve Wynn's philosophy of luxury (that service is the most important element to hospitality), I am finding the employees at the Wynn to be a major disappointment: first the many employees who did not smile or say hello even when I smiled at them or said hi to them first, and now this cashier. (Also, dude needs to stop appearing in his own advertisements; his sad, tired, bored-of-everything monotone made me *less* interested in the restaurants, shows, etc. he was hawking. Is he *that* sad about losing the house to his ex-wife?) DH bought a $5 rice krispy treat that was almost all marshmallow and no rice krispies - and the flavor was awful. It tasted to me like it was made of Play-Doh. D'oh indeed. Finally, the chocolate bar I got was fine, nothing to write home about. It supposedly had apple and caramel in it, but I couldn't really detect much apple *or* caramel flavor. It just tasted like run-of-the-mill chocolate with indeterminate bits in it, like a Cadbury Fruit and Nut bar with reeeeeally tiny dried fruit and nut crumbs in it. read more

Where is a girl suppose to buy alcohol around here? Me and some friends wanted to pre-game in our suite before clubbin, so we wanted to buy a bottle of Belvedere. But we didn't want to walk far so we found this place downstairs of our hotel. Now the prices here are of course jacked up because it is on the strip and in a nice hotel. Most places that sell alcohol on the strip, sell if for more than it's usual retail price. Unfortunately they didn't have Belvedere so we settled for the next best thing, grey goose. Anyways, a bottle of goose was almost $85, you can get it at a grocery market for like 40 something. Six bottles small bottles of cranberry juice and one bag of chips came out to be almost $30. But, hey it was all so we could have fun, so it didn't matter! Thank god for this place being right downstairs because if you ordered a bottle from room service, that bad boy would cost you $150! read more

Located right by the elevators that go up to the Tower Suites at the encore, Sundries is the Encore's' small convenience store. If you forgot something at home or just want some more of their yummy smelling body wash, you can pick it up at sundries. Of course if you want more of an extensive selection or cheaper alcohol, I'd recommend walking over to the Walgreens just past the Wynn hotel but before the Venetian...but when you're in a bind and need something right away, Sundries is your place. read more
