After a long hike in the Black Forest, we were ready to eat but wanted a break from German food. We found Enchilada on Yelp. We don't live near a Mexican restaurant and don't make Mexican food at home, so we thought it might be a good change from our usual fare. It was also located nearby and it was just about to open for the evening (5:00 PM). Everything on the menu looked delicious. I chose the Fajita Steak and was not disappointed. The steak was cooked to perfection. My wife had the Plato Mexicano and she said it was also a great choice. Our kids had the Street Tacos. They were tasty but a bit too spicy for the kids. The star of the show was the Molcajete. We don't normally eat guacamole as the pre-made kind at our grocery store is not good. Our kids had a blast mixing it up. Not only was it fun to make, but it was delicious. We liked the guacamole so much, we went back the next day for more. We also used their simple recipe (avocado, onions, Roma tomatoes, cilantro, and lime juice) to make our own when we got home. We could not get our kids to eat avocados before this. Now they want guacamole every day! In fact, I think the experience made our family Mexican food fans now. The service during both visits was excellent. The servers were both friendly and welcoming. The dining areas and restrooms were clean. If you're interested, you can find their menu online. read more
