This was my second time visiting Enchanted Rose at The Grand Floridian! It's subtly themed based on Beauty and the Beast and has an overall classy ambiance. Definitely a spot to check out if you're on an adults only trip, and not a spot I'd recommend bringing kids. When we visited on a Monday evening we were able to get a table right away (it's seat yourself). However, almost 15 mins went by before anyone came to check on us. It seemed under staffed, with one waiter looking after most of the bar. Everything came out at once, which was a bummer because it would've been nice to have our drinks while we waited for food. We would've stayed for another round but everything took so long and we had dinner reservations downstairs at Citrico's. Thankfully, my drink was good and the trout dip and seasonal flatbread were both perfect appetizers to share. Top-notch experience here! I didn't love the resort, but I sure did love this plush cocktail bar! The bartender was so nice and welcoming and genuinely friendly. They were busy, but he still took the time to talk to me. We had gone in right when they opened and I got there first as my travel companion went back to our room to get something we had forgotten. The Bartender and I chit-chatted about the party and he had both of our Old Fashioneds made by the time my travel companion got back to the bar. At 3:35 the bar was buzzing. We were going to Mickey's Not So Scary and the doors opened to party guests in Magic Kingdom at 4 PM. We wanted to get there shortly AFTER that to avoid the crowds, so having a drinky drink seemed like a great place to go before heading over. The drinks were perfectly made and I love the ambiance inside. I imagine it is even better sitting at a cozy table, but the bar worked out just fine for our intents and purposes. Great space. Enchanted Rose was my favorite stop on our Monorail Bar Crawl. It was our second stop on our crawl which included: Tambu Lounge, Enchanted Rose and the Steakhouse 71 Lounge. Right away I was excited by the attention to detail in the decor and ambiance. At $19, the Croquettes were the best thing I ate all day, with house-made fennel sausage, tomato sauce and pecorino romano. Every cocktail I tried around the table was delicious. The staff was super friendly and helpful in assisting us in our cocktail selection. I ended up with a seasonal cocktail and I'm so glad I did. It was the most delicious and well-balanced cocktail I had during our Disney vacation. I would absolutely reccomend and be back myself! read more

Great drinks and dishes. This place deserves a higher star average than it currently has. We did a monorail bar crawl and this was my favorite place hands down (the caveat is Steakhouse 71 and California Grill bars were completely full so we didn't get to try there.) There is a line to get in exactly at 3:30 p.m. when it opens. It is rather large inside, so I bet it goes fast. We had to leave for our Trader Sam's time, so we came back after, around 5 p.m. It had a modest wait at that point. They said they're famous for their espresso martinis, so I had to try that. It isn't sweet, if you want a sweet drink. It has a strong espresso taste. I enjoyed it, but it's definitely different than what I was expecting. I wish I was able to try their seasonal pumpkin spice martini, but our server was so slow we decided it wasn't worth ordering another drink (I'd actually take away .5 for the slowness of our server, but I think that was a him thing, not a Enchanted Rose thing, so overall I'm still giving this place five stars.) The appetizers were all extremely good. The truffle fries with the aioli sauce is a must get. Just do it. The fish dip with the lavash was also exceptional. It's more fishy than mayonnaisy, which I like, but my friend didn't. The lavash was also very flaky and I loved it. The flatbread was pretty good, but if you can only get two things, stick with the truffle fries and then the fish dip. The atmosphere is beautiful. I really enjoyed looking around and seeing the decor. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend stopping here. I wouldn't do it with children, but those of you lucky enough to do adult disney should make this a must stop. read more

But the biggest issue was the service. It took over 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive but the place wasn't full. My bestie asked, Would you consider a Disney staycay? Me-just give me the dates!! We stayed on property for four days and only visited one park, Epcot-Food and Wine DUH! Then we made plans to go a "monorail around the resorts day." After visiting two other resorts, we made it here at the recommendation of a nice lady while we were on the monorail. She insisted that we stop in here, so we did. We arrived a few minutes before the rope drop, there was already a line! WOW. This has to be a good thing. The rope dropped and we had been told to sit at the bar, thankfully the large group went towards the library, and we were able to sit where we wanted. The bar was immediately full. It seemed that the staff wasn't prepared which really surprised me (at the "happiest place on earth"). We took a look at the menu and the drinks all sounded nice. I ordered an Island Rose and bestie ordered a Garden Daisy. While we waited for our drinks we took the time to notice the subtle Beauty and the Beast touches. Very nicely done. Walked in and joined a friend for her birthday. We decided to enjoy the lounge area. The cast members were super kind and had great things to recommend. Every time someone joined or left our group the server was extremely accommodating! Overall the enchanted rose is very pretty and has great views of the Grand Floridian. The Enchanted Rose is located inside of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. It is not open all day, just in the evening. It is a great stop if you are doing the monorail bar crawl. It was the last stop, stop #5 for us. My wife and I wanted to come here for so long and was upset. We have to go again because from what I have heard, we missed out. You do not need a reservation; you might have to wait if it is busy. If you cannot park at the hotel, then you can park at the TTC and take the monorail over. We waited about 10 minutes for a table and then were seated outside. This was upsetting to say the very least. In retrospect we should have spoken up, but at first glance it had a beautiful view. Once seated it took 20 minutes for a server to come to our table. Ridiculousness. When we were finally given the time of day, all of us were ready to order. Thankfully our cell phones were charged and we looked up the menu online. Located on the second floor of the Grand Floridian, Enchanted Rose is a cute, Beauty and Beast themed bar with lots of seating and little touches about to enjoy your immersion in the fairy tale. We sat at the bar under the yellow rose, almost expecting the shimmering gold flakes to start at any moment. Other areas to sit include the library themed area or a nice balcony with a breeze even on the hottest evening. My friend ordered a London Fog which i sipped on and it was delicious. I ordered a glass of wine, and I was given the last of the bottle which the waiter informed me was not full pour, but didn't offer to open another bottle to finish the pour. When the bill arrived, my friend paid it (we combined our tabs this trip to split out later) and it was indeed a full charge for a skimped on drink (that was a bit stale anyway). I am so happy I got the chance to come to here on a girls Disney day trip! Going to Disney with the kids is fun, but going with mom friends is even better, especially when you can hotel hop! It's actually the Gand Floridian hotel but this little gem of a bar is inside it and is the perfect pitstop before you head off to put your Mickey ears on in a mostly sober theme park. Unfortunately, our visit to Enchanted Rose was the only disappointing part of our vacation (Feb 2020, pre-COVID). We arrived on a Friday evening and discovered that it is a first-come, first-served seat yourself bar. They have three rooms, plus a patio, and it was poppin' at approximately 6:45pm. We had a hard time finding a place for us to sit, but ended up swooping in like vultures to get a room in the "library." This was my favorite room, it was a little quieter, and you had no doubt that you were in a Beauty and the Beast themed bar. We even found Cogsworth on one of the bookshelves. It was very loud, but it was also very crowded, so that is to be expected. The seat yourself flow was unexpected, stressful, and a disappointing way to begin our experience. We finally sat down, and after about 20 minutes, a man (who we later learned is the manager) came by and cleaned off the table from the previous party's dirty plates and dishes. It took another 15 minutes for our server, Mary, to bring us menus. I knew what I wanted, already doing my research before coming. I came here specifically for their special tableside "Love" cocktail. I was celebrating my recent divorce on this trip, changing my name, and getting a new "once upon a time." My friends needed a few extra minutes with the menu. We were all disappointed that there weren't any tempting mocktail options. Mocktails are growing in popularity across the country. It was disappointing that Disney's newest bar only had 3 less than exciting possibilities for our non-drinking friends. Two of the options felt more like "kids drinks" vs actual mocktails. They ended up asking the bartender to surprise them with something fruity and were both disappointed with the pineapple-heavy drink that was brought. We hoped to order some snacks, but they didn't have allergy-friendly options or an allergy menu. Someone in our group was dairy and gluten-free, so we ended up just sending someone down to Gasparilla and brought food up. They were okay with us bringing outside food. When I went to order my "Love" cocktail tableside experience. To my dismay, Mary told us that they don't do the tableside cocktails during busy nights. There was no mention of this. We would not have come to this bar if it hadn't been for the tableside cocktails. She offered to have the bartender make the drink, and she could tell us the story. Still, I declined not wanting to pay extra money to not be able to enjoy the full experience. I picked another cocktail off the menu since at this point I we had already been there for an hour. I was honestly embarrassed that I brought my friends here when we could have just gotten drinks at a less crowded bar or restaurant. It felt like a big waste of time and money. I enjoyed the Lavender Fog cocktail that I got. It was unique, and I would order it again at another bar if it wasn't a signature creation. Since we aren't big drinkers though, our whole experience ended up just feeling a little overpriced and "what is the point." I know one-star is such a brutal rating. However, months later, I'm still feeling the disappointment from every minute of my experience at The Enchanted Rose. I considered rounding up to 2 stars since Mary was pleasant, and we also enjoyed a friendly chat with the manager at one point. I know that Disney magic comes with a hefty price tag, and I am happy to pay for it. There was no magic here. We felt like we wasted 2 hours of our trip and our money. I'd like to give it another shot since we stay at the Grand Floridian during each of our trips. Still, I just can't say that I ever will, and I absolutely won't recommend it to any of my friends. read more

We arrived at 4pm and the bar was practically full and much of the seating in the main area was filled as well. The third area, the library, was roped off. By 4:35pm, 8 of the 9 tables in our area were sat and by the time we left around 5:30, the library had opened and there was quite a long queue of people waiting to get in! Inspired by Beauty & the Beast, it has four areas for you sit. The main area which has the horseshoe shaped bar with a golden chandelier overhead inspired by Belle's gold ballgown, the area we sat in which was a forest theme based on the gardens and forest around the castle, a library inspired by the baroque era, and an outside patio. Specialty Drinks drinks cost $16-$25(ish). This is on par for alcoholic mixed beverages around Disney; a Piña CoLava is a poolside fave of mine and is also about $16 (before tip). There are 5 appetizers, small plates if you will, to choose from. These are served from 5-10pm * Crab Mac & Cheese $16 * Artisanal Cheese Selection $19 * House-made flatbread $18 * Truffle fries $14 * Mini smoke brisket sliders $16 We opted for the Crab Mac & Cheese and the Briskets, which have bleu cheese and Vidalia onion jam. Who KNEW bleu cheese and pork would be so good? We've had three different sliders this trip and these were my favorite! The Crab Mac & Cheese certainly tasted crabby, but I couldn't pick out any crab except for the piece I saw on Tom's plate and one I had. The pasta was shells and a bit al dente; much harder than I expected pasta to be. It does have a kick to it! I wouldn't order the Crab Mac & Cheese again but I would absolutely order the sliders! I chose the Floral Bitter Beauty which is Hendrick's Gin, St-Germain Elderflower, Campari, Aperol, Lemon, and Soda. I was assured it wasn't very bitter buuuut it was. This was our second visit to the Enchanted Rose. Last year, we walked in and sat at a table by the window not long after they opened and loved it. This time, we decided to spend some time before our reservation at Citrico's. Little did we know it had become so popular. We spent most of our time waiting in line to get in, over 20 minutes. When we finally got a seat at the bar, we waited even longer to get our orders taken by the bartender. Realizing how busy they were, we wouldn't have minded, but people who were seated after us were served first, and we spent about $50 on 2 drinks that were sub-par.
