She has invariable made time to listen and to counsel me on a variety of issues, gave me immediate referrals to specialists when I requested a different GYN or surgeon. The only frustrating aspect is that it is nearly impossible to reach a live staff person by telephone. The phone tree is set up so you have to leave a message and wait for a return call, which can take several hours or days, depending on the nature of the call. This can be frustrating, and if you happen to be away from your phone at the moment they call you, you have to start over. It would be much more efficient, in my view, if they answered their phones.

She always listens carefully and asks all the…read moreright questions -- you can see that determining just the right diagnosis for a patient captures her full attention. Also, she has a wild sense of humor, which I always appreciated. The only downsides were that, when I was her patient (I have since moved out of the area) I had to wait a very long time before being called in for my appointment, sometimes 45 minutes or more! However, I always forgave the wait because Dr. Peregrim is so trustworthy and skilled.

She downright told me I didn't have Lyme and wasn't going to let me get tested until I insisted on it. Needless to say, I switched doctors. I was in shock with her attitude when it came to Lyme. Both her and her staff need more education not only in medical but also in human relations. I DO NOT recommend her.
