A small empanada joint that sells freshly made goods. The cashier was attentive and the place was only small enough to cater for small groups of 2 to sit down. They offered a wide selection of empanadas and with great quantity. The taste of the empanadas were great although the price for them were a little high for my liking. What I did enjoy was that they offered to heat it so I can eat it on the go as well as they filled them up nicely. I particularly liked the chicken one the most, the beef felt the most filling, while the pulled pork one tasted like a classaic pulled pork sandwich stuff in an empanada. They weren't dry tasting and had good depth of flavor.The sauces were extra cost however was a nice compliment. I would come back again if convinient and in the mood. read more

Upon entering this cozy shop with 3 tables for dining, I was greeted by the staff at his family-owned/family-run establishment specializing in Argentinian empanadas. These, put simply, are savory baked hand-held pastries. A large selection menu featured everything from Beef, Chicken, Ham & Cheese to Apple Pie, Hawaiian, and Guava & Cheese. One can't go wrong with any of the options. After speaking with Lucas, the owners' son, he recommended their popular Beef, Chicken, and Cuban Empanadas. They arrived hot. Each empanada was identified with the initials on the left side border. The shells were not greasy. They were packed full with the flavorful fillings with the accompanied Chimichurri sauce and were delicious. The price was comparable to the area. The staff was friendly and helpful; the service was fast. They've gotten so popular that a second location has been announced in Boonton. It was worth every minute, which I can recommend. read more

I heard about this place through some friends and decided to check it out today I purchased the pulled pork, pepperoni and cheese, beef and chicken empanadas, and each one just got better than the last Planning on sharing them, but that's didn't happen. The chicken is not spicy just full of flavor and the pulled pork was my absolute favorite. This mom and Pop shop is located on S. Main St. in Lodi, and has the best empanadas I have ever had along with an amazing coffee machine that makes lattes cappuccinos. I tried an iced latte and it was perfect. The owners are super friendly, and I received great service. There's three small tables to sit at, but I did take out. Stopped by this place tonight with a craving, and definitely don't regret it! A cute Argentinian cafe and Empanada shop, I'll def have to stop by again and eat in! The pastry is PERFECTLY flaky and crisp, a perfect size, and packed to the absolute brim with filling! Based on the other reviews I'll def have to come back and try the beef and pulled pork~! I placed an order for pickup on DoorDash and I was shocked by how fast I got the notification that they were already hot and ready for me and when got there I was super pleased by how warm I could tell they were just by holding the bottom of the box! Really sweet staff and a wide variety of savory and and a few sweet empanadas, the empanadas are baked and has a soft flaky crust with well proportioned meat filling. The beef patty is also good. Great shop! I prefer Argentinian style empanadas because I appreciate the baked goodness and type of filling. These taste like they are straight from Buenos Aires. I believe Felix is who helped me and was kind and polite. I couldn't help myself and ordered 5. 2 more than my stomach could handle so I finished them for dinner. I stopped by because I live in the area and saw the sign. It's a small, clean shop and the empanadas are out of this world. My favorite are the chicken and the beef. Delicious empanadas, Im Argentinean and I usually only eat my mom's empanadas but these are very well made!! The alfajores de maizena are tasty as well and they dont leave that dryness that others usually do! And they have the most generous layer of dulce de leche!!! On top of the food the service is always wonderful! My husband went in today and was astonished on how friendly the owners son was! Some of the best empanadas around. If you are in the area, this is a must stop by place. Got a few and were all good, but the ham & cheese and Cuban were stand outs. Don't forget to get chimichurri. The empanadas are excellent. The sausage and peppers were our favorite, so far, but we stopped in again today and are trying the pulled pork, the beef and the pepperoni and cheese this time. I had to redo this review because I forgot to put decimals in and punctuation. First of all it's extremely overpriced 3.50 for a tiny little empanada. In my opinion the quality of the meat and the meat quantity was ridiculous for 3 50 . empanadas should be like a $2.00 - 2.25 and and decent size something that you should be least satisfied with. it wasn't very tasty in my opinion. it was very bland, if you go to this place you will see there is never no one in there. I work by there and everyday I go by it's empty I should have never went in there when I saw no one goes in there. I had to go get something to eat after I spent $12 getting empanadas, I ended up throwing out everything after the first bite! I don't think this place will be in business very longer. like I said in my opinion it's extremely overpriced and the quantity and quality it's ridiculous . Came by on a stroll with my kitten to check out the new spot and was pleasantly impressed with their Guava and Cheese empanada. I left and was picked up by my partner and told him he had to come so we came back 20 minutes later and tried their Cuban, Spinach, obviously the Guava again and we were stuck between the Cheese or the Chicken empanada. We chose the Cheese and the owner was so kind and welcoming he made us try the chicken on the house. He warmed up all the Empanadas so they were the perfect temperature. Each empanadas was full and tasty and a big size for a good price. They have many different coffees and specialty drinks like Chai Frappe and Cappuccino! They also have Desserts like Tres Leches and chocolate cake and cookies! They also mentioned catering as well. Definitely the Best Empanada Spot around!
