The service was excellent! He went over our order when it came out so we'd know which empanadas they were and checked on us during and after the meal. Everything we tried today was very good. I tried the beef (baked), artichoke, and caprese. He tried the shrimp, tuna, and beef (baked). My favorite of the savory options was the artichoke and his favorite was the tuna. The star of the show for me though was the pineapple and cream cheese! Not overly sweet and plenty of pineapple. We did the lunch deal which was 3 savory empanadas and a coke for $9.95. Can't beat that deal! The restaurant was clean with 6 or so tables to dine in. The restroom was also clean. We will definitely be back! read more

Ordered through Uber. The first time I ate in the store and the dessert Nutella empanada - the Nutella got burnt (part of it). This time I ordered it again and the Nutella empanada leaked all over the bag, both take out containers, and the other sweet empanada (pineapple and cream cheese(?)) had broken. The top of it had collapsed. So they may not know how to fry/bake the sweet empanadas with a tight seal on the dough. The flavors are still good as long as the chocolate and Nutella don't get burnt. Staff may want to consider wrapping each empanada for take-out orders in parchment or thin aluminum sheets. That way they'll travel better. Overall, they were all still tasty, but with take-out, significantly messier. Took my 4 star rating down to a 3 star rating. read more

I was really excited for these empanadas but not going to lie they were so mid. I got the curried vegetable empanada and the shrimp empanada. The curry vegetable was flavorless and fell flat. The shrimp one was really crispy but the shrimp was overdone and super chewy. Not a fan. The service was really sweet and the place itself is really clean and white and bright. read more

Went to Cypress location for the first time. I didn't try empanadas this time I eat a traditional "choripan" it was really good, chimichurri needs a bit if improvement. It was a quick lunch I didn't have a lot of time. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is owner used to be one of Argentina Cafe owners...amazing place. He is there and makes a lot of difference. My BF and I ordered 5-6 types to try. Our fav were the salteño (beef) and shrimp. The staff recommend it baked and it was sooo flavorful and flaky. It's very affordable and we like to try many flavors. we will go here again when we are near the area. plenty of parking, free water, nice decor. I had lunch at the Emapanda Factory in Cypress today (Barker Cypress/Queenston) and it was great! I tried 3 baked empanadas - spinach and cheese, curry chicken vegetable, and the saltena. The dough was light and flaky and the filling was delicious on each of them, but the saltena was my favorite. They have a great lunch special as well - 3 empanadas with a soda for $8.95. read more

Outstanding empanadas. Get them deep fried or baked. Just opened today after delays. Staffing? Same owners as the one on SW Fwy. So glad to have one closer to home. Just Tuesday through Sunday until things get rolling. Behind Shell/Burger King. Will probably have some growing pains first few weeks, but try the empanadas. You will not be disappointed. read more

Had a craving for empanadas and gave this spot a try. I was surprised how clean the place is and service was great as well. I ordered 2 of each of the following: Onion cheese, corn, spinach and cheese, beef, saltena, Mediterranean, and chicken. All of them exceeded my expectations. Pop in pop out kind of ordering. I like the concept along with a couple tables for seating in case you can't wait to eat. I ordered 4 different empanadas. They were pretty good but in my opinion a bit on the pricey side. I haven't craved them since going there so perhaps I wasn't that impressed. Divino!!! I came in around 2-2:30pm. The place was empty. I let the lady know that it was my first time, and she very kindly explained the menu to me. I chose the chicken (baked), salteño ( fried ), and chorizo (fried). I have to say out of the 3 the salteño was my most favorite! All three were on point, flakey, and just overall very delicious! The sauces were also delicious! I chose the basic chimichurri and the yellow one (garlicky which I love) The place is clean and welcoming. The service was great I waited maybe 6 minutes and she even wrote which one was which. My new favorite place! I will be recommending to friends and family for sure! Can't wait to go back. read more

Tried 4 different empanadas. Two of the beef empanadas were so wet that they made the crust soggy. The crust was good when it was not soggy. The beef empanada had no flavor to it. They had one beef empanada that had bell peppers and onions that one taste a little better but both were really mediocre in regards to flavor. I also tried a curry chicken empanada and I didn't even eat it all. it was very dry and not very flavorful. I really wanted to like this place but I didn't care for the empanadas very much. read more

Th Empanada Factory is great. My husband and I looked over the menu at home and did a sampling of their savory empanadas. My favorite is the Mediterranean Beef with Chicken Avocado as a close second. Of the 6 kinds we tried, there were baked and fried options. If you walk in, be prepared to wait for your order as everything is made to order. If you call ahead, they will have your order ready for you. This is a great addition to the Cypress area and one that I hope you will try.
