Panang Curry!
Martin N.

I have a craving for a curry dinner. Wife suggested we visit Emon's Thai Café at the Green Tree Plaza by the corner of Airport Pulling and Immokalee. She said, "I think your friend, Paul K. like this place!" What, if Paul K. (The Foodie) likes that place, I can go wrong there!" We got in early so we were seated inside immediately without any problem. As we looking at the menu, the aromatic smelling from the Thai cooking permeated the air. I knew we are in the right place! To keep cool, I ordered a Sapporo beer. I was oscillating back and fore between Massaman or Panang Curry. Panang curry is richer, spicier with a prominent peanut taste while Massaman is milder, sweeter and mixed with a complex blend of spices like cardamom, cloves and cinnamon. The panang is cooked with peppers, onion and coconut milk whereas Massaman often includes potatoes and carrots. Finally, I opted in for Panang Chicken. Add a little Jasmin rice to the creamy Panang curry; it is a home run and hits the spot! Wife love her choice of Chicken and Shrimps House delight on mild spiciness! It is flavorful and mixed well with bamboo shoots, mushroom, baby corn & snow peas. The service is excellent. Love come here to enjoy the Thai cuisine.

Best Thai in Naples and SW Florida. The curry dishes are out of this world!! Beats all of the others in town.

We arrived a bit early for the dinner rush and were seated immediately. As we settled in, the dining room began to fill--always a good sign. Menus and drinks came quickly, and our server was attentive from the start, bringing water and taking our drink order without delay. Prices are reasonable. One friend ordered the Tom Yum soup with shrimp, and he couldn't stop raving about it--he said it was the best he's ever had, and he's visited plenty of Thai restaurants. Our entrées arrived soon after, and every single dish at the table was outstanding. I chose the Pad Thai with chicken, skipped an appetizer, and still finished every bite. The flavors were spot‑on, portions generous, and presentation appealing. By the end of the meal, we all agreed we'd happily return. If you enjoy Thai cuisine--or love it--Tokyo Thai Sushi is absolutely worth a visit.

They also included plenty of eel sauce and spicy mayo. On the downside, the otoro and salmon didn't taste very fresh, and the edamame tasted like it was cooked in chicken water, which was unexpected. If those items were improved, it would have been a perfect meal!

The pineapple fried rice came out served in an actual hollowed out pineapple. Not a bowl shaped like a pineapple. A real, fresh pineapple. Loaded with perfectly seasoned fried rice, chunks of pineapple, cashews, raisins, onions, scallions, and tender chicken. The sweet and savory combination hit all the right notes, and the portion was generous. This dish is as delicious as it is Instagram worthy. My wife went with the chicken pad Thai, and it did not disappoint. Beautiful plate of silky noodles, fresh bean sprouts, scallions, and well cooked chicken, all tossed in that classic pad Thai sauce. Great flavor, great texture, exactly what you want when the pad Thai craving hits. The whole experience was on point. Good vibes, good food, the kind of meal that has you planning your next visit before you've even finished eating. The Verdict: Mojo Thai & E-San delivers the goods. The pineapple fried rice is a showstopper, the pad Thai is legit, and we walked out completely satisfied. Five stars, and we will absolutely be back for more.
