I have been here three times and keep hoping it will get better because I like the owner. Maybe, by the time you visit, things will improve. Why would you visit? For the view. It can't be improved...the Parroquia, the valley, the mountains, the sunset...Now, if you had a terrace with a view like that, what's the first theme to come to mind for a menu? Pizza? No! Yes, unfortunately, pizza or pasta or salad (no, salad not included in 200p pasta dinner). And, the manager may try to give you the stale rolls. ( Happened twice. Second time, spoke up and assistant replaced with fresh.) The least expensive pasta selection is about 95 pesos and includes tepid spaghetti with clumpy melted parmesan. (I think you have to work at that.)
Two postre selections after eating pizza or pasta -- crepe or cheesecake. And if you want house wine with your pasta, one white- chardonny, 85 pesos. Corona-- 40.
So, let's return to the view and look slightly down....a large empty terrace but for.....wait, two adorable puppies tumbling about. Now, if you have the best view in San Miguel, might you put a few plants on that deck? A fruit tree or two? Let the pups run among them? Not happening yet.
In short, the view is wasted. The good news is, there's a bar. Go up and have a couple of beers at sunset. Then, move on. read more
