Open on Sundays! Yay!…read more It's always hard to find places to go on sundays. This nice cafe is a perfect find for breakfast pastries with coffee. If you want to sit and eat breakfast, just walk in and sit at one of the empty tables. They're quite busy so no one will be coming to ask you if you need a seat. Take a look at the selection of pastries for the day before sitting down so you know what you want, or they have a breakfast menu with French toast and eggs if you want. So many to choose from! We ended up getting a cafe creme and a latte macchiato. The latte was milkier than the average latte FYI. As for pastries we ordered a croissant - not very good...especially if you like French croissants. German croissants don't have as many layers or the crispy and chewiness of the French. However, make sure you get the scheibe hefezopf! It's a slightly sweet bread with raisins. Kind of like a challah. Super yummy!

There are two parts of the cafe, one take out and one sit in. If you want to sit in while eating or drinking just find a table and the waitress will come to you. If you order from the take out side you can't use the tables in the main part of the restaurant.

Moulu has great food, they definitely do. But I have to make this review about their coffee.. And…read moreby coffee I specifically mean their cappuccinos. At Moulu you will arguably get the best cappuccino there is in Stuttgart. It is very competitively priced, but the most fascinating part about their cappuccino is that when I drink it it is almost as if they have infused the cream into the coffee. It is so strange when I drink it because it tastes so smooth to me its almost like drinking a nice warm chocolate milk or a hot chocolate, except coffee of course. If you are in the area (though Stuttgart is not big at all) so better said, if you visit Stuttgart, stop by and try one of the cappuccinos for under 3 eur and just give it a shot. It will be one of the better cappuccinos you have had. Food is good, environment is cool, and staff is friendly.
