Jon (Owner of Emerald Cuts Tree service) was on site and gave an inspection for tree felling, wood removal cost with stump removal (stump grinding). He gave this cost to myself and my adjacent neighbor (splitting the tree felling, wood removal and stump removal cost) Jon, was working in my neighborhood, and had others he was doing work for, said his crew was going to be on my site on Friday & Saturday, later the same week. Since his stump grinding machine would be onsite at another neighbors home, after her tree was felled, and the wood removed. On Friday he contacted my neighbor, because he was unable to contact me on Friday afternoon. Called Jon, he said his crew would be there after some storm damage work completed on Monday morning. Jon (owner) arrives Monday morning, with another individual, "introduced his safety guy", and walks around tree, further inspecting it. Me and my neighbor, get the "You need to contact another tree company for wood removal cost, as I live up north, and cannot haul the wood away". Also that the previous cost given didn't include this (wood removal), or the stump removal. TLDR = Owner gave a complete tree removal cost with stump removal, had customer wait several days before showing up, then gave it another look and refused to honor his cost.
