I love this low cost vet service office. From the quaint little house, to every staff member. I started coming here a year ago when I moved to Texas. We were still to busy, and tight on funds for a full service office. Just needed heartworm workup, rabies vaccination. It was a walk up facility. During covid it switched to curb. Now it's limited numbers allowed in the clinic. Check in, registration clip boards are on the side of the building. Fill out the form first, see the tech at the window , they will let you know how many patients are ahead of you. They will also text you a link to follow the wait time along, and let you know they are ready for you. We waited about 1.5 hour, service was quick and pocket painless. Wellness check $9.00. Flea/worm control $20.

Staff was super friendly and informative. Also the cheapest place I've found in Killeen to neuter your dog. Definitely recommend!(:

How much does it cost to only get a rabies shot?

The office visit fee is $9, and a rabies vaccine is $15!

Is this clinic just for vaccinations, or can my dog be examined here as well?

We provide basic preventative care services along with vaccinations. A list of all our services can be found here: https://emancipet.org/killeen/low-cost-services/

Do they charge more to get big dog breeds neutered? My dogs weigh 100lbs at the moment. I'm afraid it's gonna cost more than what is advertised.

Hi Alondra! The price is a flat $69, regardless of breed or size.

    Do u see cats?

    We absolutely do!

Our kitty Farty started bleeding one day, stopped eating and moving. We took him to an emergency vet, and they basically said there was nothing they could do, and he was fine. After 3 days or trying to get to eat, drink, ect we, we feared that we would have to put him down. He was fading quickly, and we hated watching him suffer. My mom wanted to try and took him here, and thanks to the doctors collaborating and trying to figure out what was wrong, they were able to bring him back to his old self after weeks of care. He had a severe undiagnosed UTI, hyperthyroidism, and possible IBD. He was on deaths door, we were so heartbroken, and because of the caring of this vet, they were able to bring him back to his old self. I also recently brought my kitty Tiny in a panic due to her not keeping any food or liquid down, and they fit me in and were extremely understanding even though they were short staffed that day. This is the best vet I've been too and I always feel listened to, and I feel like they care about the animals so much. Every time I'm here, the phones are ringing off the hook, and I can see why. This is possibly the best vet in the area.

Dr. Zach Seyler appears to be running a drug scam for our pets. Originally I was offered a six or a…read moreone month supply of Heart Gard for my Yorkie. At that time the puppy was under the minimum weight of the medication - He prescribed, she was 3.6 lbs. I elected to receive only a one month supply to see the puppy's reaction to it prior to ordering the six month supply. Afterwards seeing that the puppy was doing fine with the medication I decided to follow the link -Killeen Veterinary Clinic- send to to make the purchase of the six month supply which would save me over Two Hundred dollars off the price they were selling it for there at the clinic! However, my order was refused due to DR. Zach Seyler Saying the dog was not at the proper weight for the medication requested - The exact same medication He prescribed! After calling the Clinic and receiving the -song and dance- that they had to ensure the Puppy had gained the weight required for the prescription, I took the puppy in for her final shots and weigh-in noting she had gained over a pound and now actually within the weight window for the medication -He originally prescribed. I was asked if I waned to purchase medication and I told them I would just buy it on line. However now they tell me I could only purchase one month at a time because they needed to weight the puppy every single month. That meant all the savings I would have received was taken from me and more because the purchase price for one pill at a time is much greater than the savings from the six month supply. That is not to mention the waste of my time and money running the puppy back and forth to their clinic for a weigh-in each month. But, they were all fine and dandy selling me the six month supply from their clinic at over Fifty dollars a pill! After all that there is the matter of DR. Seyler twisting my Yorkie's hind legs out of joint, explaining Yorkie's sometimes have problems with their hind legs, and in the same breath saying they have an operation to "fix" the problem. Personally I don't feel the need to over exercise the soft developing bones of a puppy possibly perpetuating what may or may not be a future problem. The second visit I deliberately ask the attending Veterinarian (a female) not to do that to the puppy's back legs And she did it anyway! A bit kinder than Dr. Seyler's assault on the puppy's legs but still voided my concerns. It appears these people might find it humorous to poke at the soft spot on a newborn's head?
