Moment of honesty, I think a lot of people come across this restaurant because they feel like…read moreeating steak and find that El Gaucho is fully reserved... and then with the help of the all steak gods, come across La Casona. This is how we were first introduced to La Casona a while back. We revisited on Saturday and were blown away.
If you enjoy eating good food and can forget about counting calories for a night, then here's my bullet proof recommendation:
Start out with the bread and the amazing garlic/Kräuter butter that will be offered to you. Take it easy on the bread, regardless of how delicious the butter is. You have to remain hungry.
Order the Gamba's appetizer - it is served in hot delicious garlic oil in which you can dip your bread. But again, take it easy on the bread.
Then, for your main course, order the lamb dish (see provided picture in the business overview).
Oh yeaaaaah.....
