I loved Anastasia's technique -- very unique -- she relies on her fingers and broad strokes and she manages to clear a lot of spine tension this way. I've had someone else use this technique before a long time ago and the problem there was that they were too rough and then my vertebrae would be sore. Anastasia is very intuitive and uses her hands quite well so you get just enough pressure to release the tension but nothing is sore. I like that she uses broad strokes and gentle finger movements to release pretty deep tension. She has a very flowy style, her massage is extremely relaxing. If you want to release tension but dislike massage styles where they ram the elbow as hard as they can in your shoulder -- Anastasia is for you. I also really like her work on the feet. Finally, the scalp work is amazing and I think she gives by far the best face massage I've ever had. She seems very caring, intuitive, and empathetic and the massage is both very light and deep. This is not a brute force kind of massage (which can have its place too), she uses her fingers in a very artful fashion and works with a lot of finesse, wisdom, and understanding. As others have mentioned, she seems like the nicest person too and seems to work very hard to make this a pleasant experience for the client. She seems like a very kind empathetic person that genuinely cares about her clients and an excellent massage therapist with a very unique, effective, gentle and sparing technique that still gets the tension out. I loved my massage and am coming back to see her again in a couple of weeks. Thank you, Anastasia.
