A bit of a hidden gem. I had been here for coffee a couple of time and hadn't taken much notice of the food and menu. But I had seen photos of food friends had and was surprised how good they looked and were presented.
Book lunch with a friend and we sat and had a coffee and ordered. The food came out reasonably quickly considering the place was packed. I had the calamari salad and it was amazing. The calamari was soft and crispy. The salad was fresh and had a chilli sauce with peanuts and was delicious. I had regretted that I had not been here before for a meal. My friend had the laksa and he said it was quite good also.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere of the place is quite nice. It's part of the Shepparton Arts Museum (SAM) and sits on the first floor and looks out over parks and the lake. This is a nice view on a good day. Am heading back again soon to try some of the other dishes as they also looked good. A pleasant surprise to have a new fresh quality cafe to enjoy. Yum. read more
