Her communication was non-existent, such that we had heard nothing two days prior to the filing deadline, even though we provided all of our documents over a month ahead of time with confirmation of their receipt. After reaching out for an update on the status, we were told they would not be done in time and we'd need to file for an extension. As a result, we overpaid by a substantial sum, which we won't see until next year's filing. If we had not reached out, it's certainly possible we wouldn't have even been able to get the extension submitted in time. Very poor professionalism, and it's clear that not all clients are treated equally. Would not recommend to anyone.

Do not use Kathy for your taxes…read more Not only did Kathy miss the deadline for filing our taxes, she failed to provide communication, and most importantly lost us money. When the deadline for tax filing was 2 days away, I noticed we had heard nothing from Kathy. I reached out and after 24 hours finally managed to get a response which stated they were very busy and we'd have to file an extension. The onus was completely on me to remind my accountant that my taxes weren't filed. It was an inconvenience to say the least and we had to scramble to get the extension filed on time. Had we been on vacation or had extraneous life events we would have been financially penalized. Secondly, I had other family employ Kathy and they also had the same experience (lack of communication and taxes filed late) -- so it was not just us. And finally, Kathy had us overpay our taxes by nearly $11,000! Instead of having that money returned in our accounts, she assumed we'd want it applied at a 2022 tax credit. When I called and said that's not what I wanted and didn't realize that's what the paperwork was, she rudely stated, "rule number one: know what you are signing". If I understood taxes on a legal level I wouldn't hire an accountant - I explained this to Kathy and I said that's what I hired her for -- to understand and clarify the legal language for me. She again, rudely told me, "Rule number one: know what you are signing". Given this level of service and extreme incompetence, coupled with flat out rude behavior, I would never recommend her. Kathy's an incompetent accountant who I would not trust to do anyone's taxes after this experience.

During that talk, Clayton was able to pique my interest enough to make me inquire about their dental consulting services. Long story short, I am so glad to have met Clayton that night and also so glad to have had ExecTech on my side this past year. My experience with ExecTech has been nothing short of amazing. Our practice numbers have dramatically increased. I attribute much of this success to the guidance from my practice consultant JD. He has helped me to put systems in place to better communicate and motivate my staff. JD has helped me to also analyze my practice more by numbers and less by "feel". We now consistently set monthly production, collections and new patient goals. Year to date (end of September 2018) we have over 850 new patients in and our practice revenue is up over 30% from 2017. In all, I have really enjoyed working with JD and the whole ExecTech team. If you are a young doctor looking for guidance on how to better manage staff and grow a young practice, you should strongly consider ExecTech. It has been a worthwhile investment.

Exec Tech can help you, your doctors and your practice with professional goals and if you choose to use their "gifts" in you personal life will excel in your private life as well. Our consultants are Holley and Mike Graves. We cherish their insight on a personal and professional stand point and our practice is flourishing. We have learned that we can meet our goals, increase production/collections and our doctors work less days. Enjoy life. Hire Exec Tech!

We won four hours of organizing services from Lisa at The Time Butler at a charity auction…read more We put off calling Lisa for a few months, but we eventually got around to making the appointment for a two-hour visit. I stalled by giving her a tour of the house, which took up most of the time, but she did "encourage" us to clear off the kitchen table -- we filled up a couple of bags of paper during that exercise. She returned a couple of weeks later, and we used up the other donated hours. On that visit, we cleared out the media shelves in the family room, uncovered the coffee table, and rediscovered the desk. We also filled up several bags of stuff (books, VHS tapes, magazines, toys, and who knows what else) which were suitable for charitable donations -- and Lisa took it all away. She's been back twice since then, helping us deal with the shelves and desk in the kitchen, all of which are organized, clear, and usable for the first time in a long time. And again, we donated a bunch of stuff to charity (as well as filling a recycle bin!). In between visits, I got rid of some excess hardware by putting it on craigslist (most of it sold within an hour); I've also started transferring old VHS tapes to DVD (though why I needed a DVD version of King Dinosaur is a matter of some debate with the rest of the members of the household). There's no magic to it -- we're doing all the work (well, she wields the labelmaker...) and making all the decisions. But she acts as a forcing function -- when she hands us a pile to go through, it seems silly to just put it back where it was (though "later" is always a valid decision -- and I've deferred some things by moving them to a room we haven't reached yet). I'm happy we won her services, and happier that I finally got around to calling and making the appointment!

Joe has been a steady, thoughtful, and highly valuable contributor to the Board for many years. He consistently engages deeply with the College of Adaptive Arts' monthly financials, helping the Board stay grounded in reality while also identifying potential financial risks before they become issues. His insight and willingness to speak up early has strengthened our governance and improved our ability to move initiatives forward with clarity and confidence. What stands out most is that Joe brings the same mission-driven mindset from his work at brainSHARE into his Board service. Through brainSHARE, he has spent nearly two decades helping small and mid-sized business owners not just improve operations, but fundamentally shift how they think, lead, and support the people who depend on them. That focus on mindset, structure, and long-term growth is evident in how he shows up as a Board member. Joe cares deeply about impact, and it shows in both his professional work and his volunteer leadership. The College of Adaptive Arts is stronger for his presence on the Board, and brainSHARE reflects the same commitment to meaningful, lasting transformation.

The first time I met her was a powerful, serendipitous encounter. Dasha became a co-creatix and a channel for a number of my personal manifestations. It's been my desire to sing - something that I've felt self conscious about for many years. This is the one area in my life that I still carry hang ups about. Meeting my shadow head on, I've set a clear intention to start sharing my voice a few days before meeting Dasha. A day before our encounter, on the International Women's Day, the universe began to answer my call. I was dancing in ecstasy to my friends' beautiful fusion of drums and guitar as a Sister Goddess Dhyana started creating a song on the spot. She suddenly turned to me and commanded "SING!" I was startled by this clear request from the universe speaking through her, but I didn't skip a bit and answered the call. Together we co-created a song called "Woman Rising". The next day Dhyana invited me to come along and meet her coach, Dasha. Within minutes of meeting Dasha and sharing about our song, Dasha coordinated for our song to be recorded by a professional producer and her housemate Mike Barnes. I found myself flowing and sharing my voice with ease in this beautiful, safe container as Dasha, Dhyana and I sang our hearts and wombs out. We spent hours singing, dancing, playing and co-creating magic. It was also a miracle to get the chance to play the drum of my Siberian ancestors, that just happened to be at Dasha's house. This was also something that I've put out to the universe as of late. Just to top it all off, as a cherry on top of this already exceptional day, Dasha had generously gifted me an entire beautiful, white macrame outfit from her closet! It was the same outfit that I spotted in the town of Tulum just a week or 2 earlier and thought to myself "I WANT!!!" I have so much love & gratitude for Dasha. For anyone considering working or collaborating with her, I say "GO FOR IT" You will not be disappointed.
