My husband (fiancee at the time) and I moved to Nashville about 2 years ago. We decided that we would get married in Nashville because of it being a brand new place for us. One of the biggest deals about our wedding was hiring a photographer who we liked to be around, who we would want to be friends with regardless, and of course who was incredibly talented. Nikki was all of those things.
I remember meeting Nikki for the first time at a coffee shop. I think we sat and talked for two hours. Nikki makes you feel comfortable, is understanding, and has quite the eye for capturing the most beautiful moments. She's relaxed, incredibly organized, and will think of it all.
The work that Nikki did on our wedding day was everything. Looking back, I don't think I could've dreamed up a better photographer for our day. Every moment she captured took me right back. Nikki even captured the details that we actually never saw on our wedding day. She literally captured the vibe. Every detail was seen by Nikki.
To tell you more about how incredible Nikki is....We had a brunch wedding and had to arrive at the venue at 8am. Nikki came to the house where we were getting ready around 6am, picked up my dress, and drove it to the venue so we wouldn't have to worry about it. She took photos of the entire property. Every single detail from the foggy morning dirt road to the wooden sign to the massive oak tree where we said our vows. The entire feeling of that morning was captured. It was so beautiful.
Nikki's photos were so beautiful that we were featured in Brides. My wedding in Brides? Pinch me now.
I will never forget getting the email from Nikki with all of our images and scrolling through just in awe. I still look at those photos about once a month and think back to that day.
