My Spanish is embarrassing and I didn't know how to find a reputable salon in the area. When I found this one on yelp and tried booking a same-day appointment, they didn't show any availability until the following week. My husband and I were walking around the neighborhood and he suggested I stop in and ask if they had any openings. When I went inside, the salon was super clean, stylish, and welcoming, with comfortable chairs. The receptionist said, "Can you do it right now?" Yes! I was very happy to be seen at the last minute. Although my stylist didn't speak English, the receptionist did and he translated. I told them that my hair doesn't hold curls well and I was hoping it would last all night. My stylist quickly gave me smooth, bouncy waves, showing me the back with mirrors before she finished. It was a HOT humid day and I danced all night, sweated through the afternoon ceremony, and my hair still looked great by the end of the evening. The cost was about $29 USD, which is totally reasonable (I'm used to paying at least 50 for a style). I really wish they took cards (cash only), but I was really pleased with the service and how they accommodated me the way of!

I paid $760 pesos (~ $35) for a 1.5 hour massage. You can't beat that price. The room was private, the masseuse used essential oils in the room to make it smell good, the lights were dimmed and there was a very calming music playing in the background. I don't speak great Spanish but they were very helpful with the limited Spanish I did speak. I would highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing massage.

So I came back for my appointment and my massuse was this Short Small elderly lady and I was thinking omg she probably not that strong . Well I was wrong! She was Phenomenal!!! She worked all my Knots out. The room was clean and the music was relaxing also the smell was so spa like a mix of sage and lavender. Although my Spanish is close to slim to none, they took care of me and made decisions about my well being based on their professional analysis. The facial was a mix of European electric stimulation, aroma therapy and asian wraps. In additional to the fantastic facial they also did arm/hands, feet massage and neck/ shoulder massage. The whole time, a little bit over an hour, zen music was playing which really helps with relaxation, I am normally not good at that as my brain always wonders and stops at the office to figure out the rest of the Day/ week...but I really zoned out There was not product push or add on to the facial...this was a great experience. They total cost with tip ended up being 600 pesos...cannot beat this anywhere I know. Will go back on my next trip to Merida
