Edited: I would stay away,…read more I had endless hearings going nowhere to the defense lawyer siding with the prosecuting lawyer. Yes I plead guilty to charges, however.... The court proceedings dragged on to the point where I thought It would never end while it seemed the lawyer was glad to take money from the government. Meanwhile the government due to probably mismanagement kept rescheduling extra hearings and paying the lawyer, I was on legal aid... I hope this wasn't intentional but rather incompetency. In the future I hope that at least the younger counterpart to this law team becomes capable of preventing these things from happening, and practices in a manner in which I can recommend. I ended up being matched with another lawyer at Brampton's courthouse with whom I was able to get charges served against me within two hearings. Pleaded guilty for threatening someone and damaging their "property" I realize that this conduct is unacceptable in civilized society and if I could I wouldn't deal with personal conflict in this manner in the future. However I would like to note that the extended court proceedings are unnecessary and cost the taxpayers, families and government: time, undue stress and money. That is partially why I am obligated to leave this review. If the only people gaining anything from court proceedings are the lawyers, than things need to be changed. The judge was probably relieved to see a me get parole and outta there, as I was relieved to go back to my family and working. I won't let that judge down I have struggles everyday from being incarcerated and everything that goes along with it.
