I saw the photos of the debris on the shelf and inside the chimney!! The other company removed Half of a 5 gallon bucket of debris. And they showed me a nail or screw one damper that was not secured during the first cleaning. So I am very disappointed - did JCS even do anything? Oh, and I paid double to JCS rather than the second company for the same services. TLDR: I do not recommend JCS

I also wanted to remove the corbels sticking out of the fireplace. Cory came over and cleaned the chimney. He took photos and explained the previous company (who charged twice as much as Cory) left half of a 5 gallon bucket of debris inside the chimney and on the ledge. And they didn't secure a nail or screw. Cory took care of everything! The pics showed his great work! Then the corbels. He brought multiple bricks with him and fit the best ones. He explained that the mortar wouldn't match exactly but hopefully he could get it close. He definitely undersold himself. It looks amazing! If I point it out, you can see it. But it blends perfectly!
