At the beginning of our homebuying journey we had vetted a few realtors beforehand. Other realtors we spoke to programmed our wants/budget into their system and were just sending us automated e-mails of listings that fit those parameters (which felt like something we could have set up on our own...) We went with Nicole because we loved how personalized she made the process, she really does make you feel like you are her only client. We had a group text going where she would send us the listings that actually fit what we were looking for and it allowed us to keep an open conversation with her about all the questions we had as first time home buyers. A surprise bonus was that Nicole actually flips homes in her spare time and is extremely knowledgeable at what is required to make certain updates in the home so she was able to provide rough cost estimates (on adding an extra bath, new flooring, etc) which proved to be tremendously helpful as we started looking at fixer uppers. She made the process as smooth as could be, but there are always circumstances that are out of your control.... Which brings me to the grand finale of Nicole's awesomeness on closing day. During our walk-through just hours before closing we entered our soon-to-be home to find 70% of the seller's belongings were still there. Without skipping a beat Nicole took control of the situation and assured us we would get everything out in time for closing. In a pair of nice sandals and in the pouring rain, she helped us move out an entire house within hours. It certainly was a day to remember lol and it forever solidified Nicole's title in my book as #1 realtor of all time.

He had us offering close to asking price on not one but two different properties that ended with low appraisals. He DID NOT provide us with any comps or a market analysis when making these offers to substantiate the price and advised us to pay closing costs. His guidance led the sellers to believe that there was money being left on the table when our appraisal did not meet contract price. His fall back was that the "VA appraisors were not qualified" or they were "knuckle heads." He was deceptive on numerous occassions and when confronted informed us that "WE" wouldn't be under contract if not for him. With out the us buyer's he would not have a contract or the prospect of a comission.When I informed him of the two thousand dollars I lost in appraisals and home inspections for two properties, he responded that he lost his 25k in commission. Steven Pagan failed to realize that had he got us making reasonable offers we would still be working with him in searching for a home. However, he chose otherwise. Cant speak for the other agents but birds of a feather do flock together........the only good thing was he got us into properties within a reasonable amount of time. (first appraisal was off by 75k and the second 34k clearly a big problem) would have been fine not being under contract with a reasonable offer and continuing to search
