There so many thoughtful touches, a pathway for my dads wheelchair, mulch barriers from my neighbors wild flowers, storage for our kayaks. The transformation was huge, it's like a whole new house. He communicated well, always let me know if he couldn't make it on a scheduled day, and still showed up within a couple of days. The lawn work was solid, and I had no complaints. This year, however, has been a completely different story. * Lane offered me a seasonal contract at a great rate. I paid him up front, trusting him based on last year's service. * After taking my money, he never showed up--not once. * He responds to some of my messages, ignores others. * He's repeatedly said he'd refund me "at the end of the week," but I've seen no refund and no real effort to make it right. One time, he even told me he was on his way to mow the lawn. An hour passed, I checked in, and he casually replied "no" and because his lawnmower broke, but he had already been on the way. This kind of behavior has happened more than once. Lane comes across as friendly and dependable at first, but he has not followed through on a single promise this season. I'm writing this review to warn others: don't get taken in like I did.
