Elite taekwondo is the best family martial sin Winnipeg. The instructor is very helpful and my child has improved in many ways with self confidence, self worth, discipline and respect. Would recommend Elite taekwondo to any parent or child. 5/5 read more

Master level and have been in practice for over 20 yrs

Meet the Business Owner: Julius B.

Mentored by a Korean Taekwondo Master. Julius migrated from the Philippines to Canada in 1975. He is proudly married to Teresa and has 4 wonderful kids (Julian, Amanda, Yasmin & Brooke). He has taken various forms of discipline such as Karate, Judo, Sikaran & Taekwondo. He has always been active and maintains a healthy and spiritual mind. Master Bañares has achieved many accomplishments and competed in National and Provincal Championships in various sports such as Volleyball, Basketball, Football, Track & Field and completing 15 Manitoba full marathons (hence the title marathon man- after 10 full marathons you have earned that title). He has broken records in athletics and other sports. He has also coached and mentored in various sport organizations. Taekwondo has been his passion and way of life for over 20 yrs. and always strives to provide the proper instructions to all his students to achieve a higher self being.
