Being brand new to CA, I was needing a new nail salon ASAP (priorities right, lol). After finding Elite Nails & Spa & reading the past reviews, I was comfortable finding out for myself. First things first, the staff are very personable! They greet you on the phone, & as soon as you come through the door! I had an appointment with Ben, & he wasn't hard to get comfortable with! After showing him what color I wanted, he matched me with what he thought would match, & after being a bit questionable, I should've trusted him (which he kept reminding me to do so)! He was also very open, & responsive to the questions that I had regarding my nail care. He did amazing! His coworkers seemed to be just as efficient & amazing; conversing with their clients & seeing smiles on all of their faces! My next appointment is scheduled! & I look forward to it! You HAVE to check this salon out!

Ben has been doing my nails for many years. My nails always look spectacular and generate positive comments when I'm out. An appointment at Elite is so calming and relaxing. Treat yourself; you deserve it!

Had Ben do my nails today. I picked an orange color and Ben did the rest. Great artwork and design. Will definitely return to Elite Nails and Spa.

Karen does such a wonderful job each time I come into the salon. She is very creative and artistic in the designs she adds to my nails. This week she admired the design on my phone case, which inspired her design.

I got acrylic French tip with chrome and the French tip came out a bit uneven and a few nails are a bit uneven on the acrylic application and as some have no apex and look flat. A bit disappointed for a $65 set

Ben has always done an amazing job and takes great care of his clients. Karen has always made me feel special

I have been a client of Karen for years and followed her to Elite Nails & Spa. The salon is spacious, clean, and the staff is very friendly. Karen does great nail art and always works with me to create beautiful designs.

Don't know if I'll be sending out a review every time I head to this nail salon but they do deserve to be recognize for their work and this time I came in for after 4 weeks for a fill in. Kind of risky when its recommended to have fill ins 2-3 weeks as per say. But they managed to recover and attain these new nails and color. Paul was very particular with his work and I applaud for him on taking the time to finish up my nails and became very detailed. Although its a solid color and I had a design in particular, it still came out beautiful. Thank you to the lady as well for fixing up my lifted nails and attaining the perfect length. A good tip is that when setting an appointment with them you have to be very particular to what you want like and want to attain if you are getting any nail art designs on your sets because as courtesy they would need to set some time to do it. Otherwise I still recommend this salon. read more

I just started coming to this salon about a month ago after having a terrible experience elsewhere and let me just start off by saying this is the BEST nail salon I've ever had the pleasure of coming to. Everyone here so nice and does an awesome job, they constantly make sure you like what you're getting and are leaving pleased, they offer you water/soda/mimosas while you're getting your services done, this is just an awesome place all around and I'm so happy I came across it. I broke a nail yesterday and asked if I could make an appointment at 6:30 (they close at 7pm) and they took their time and did an awesome job regardless of how late I came in (which is rare from my experiences, most salons are quick to rush you out nearing closing time). I moved back to Oxnard in May and was in desperate need of finding a nail salon I could keep coming back to. My regular salon is 80 miles away now so that wasn't going to work. I checked Yelp and Elite was at the top of the list. Although they had almost 5 stars- they only had 7 reviews. The reviews were still good so I called to make an appointment and Paul was able to accommodate me the next day. This place is strictly by appointment only so there is only 2 clients at a time and 2 nail techs. Paul is the owner and Jason is the tech who did my nails. The place looks brand new- Paul said they were only open for three months before the pandemic shut them down. So the chairs are still NEW which means the massager inside them WORK. Score! The salon is pretty immaculate. Very clean and has a classy and modern design to it. Looks expensive but the prices are very reasonable. Jason did a very meticulous and clean job of making my fingers and toes look amazing! He's very gentle but was still able to clean every nook and cranny in my nail beds. I don't think I've ever seen my cuticles look so pristine. He also did an amazing job painting my little short nails. But the real deal about him is that he actually massaged me. He didnt just put some lotion and did a few rubs- he really massaged my feet and hands til the point where I could've fallen asleep. And for all this wonderful work- I got a gel mani for $30 and a regular pedi for $25. And Paul the owner is super friendly and just has a good head on his shoulders. I love his personality. He shared with me that Yelp hid 80 of his 5 star reviews because he didnt want to pay them. Shame on you Yelp! So I made it a point to share my review on Google. I definitely found my regular salon and will be coming back every time. read more

I got my toes and hands done here at Elite Nails about a week ago. I just want to say this is the best nail shop in Oxnard!!!! The service there was so amazing. The guy that did my toes, he took his time, he gave me an amazing massage. He cleaned my toes very good and painted them really good. My toes looked so pretty. Pedicure was amazing overall. I went to Elite Nail & Spa for the first time and I was very impressed. I loved the ambiance. They had relaxing piano music, the place was clean. Paul and Tammy were super friendly. Honestly I came in semi late 5:30 an hour an a half before closing and I didn't think it'd be that long, but my nail guy Davis was a such a perfectionist that he stayed an hour and a half past closing just to make sure he did his absolute best! Honestly I really respect this guy for taking the time to get it right. He worked so hard to the point where his Hands ached and I couldn't be more happy with the Job well done. 10/10 would recommend and it's at a really Good price !!! Scheduled an appointment. Only to arrive and be ignored for a client that arrived two hours before me, which was long enough for her appointment to have been concluded before i arrived. The reason i know is because i came early and was told to come back at 2:00 PM. My appointment was at 2:00 PM and i waited almost 20 minutes to not be assisted. Another lady arrived after me and was aided quicker than i was. I assume these are their regulars? All i know is, the atmosphere was not welcoming and the nail tech scheduled to do my nails has no regard for NEW clientele i suppose. I simply told him to continue to assist her and i'd took my leave, because he seemed to have no interest in aiding me and this was my first time attempting to use these place. Needless to say i will not be going back. Terrible customer service. read more

This was the first time I requested acrylic only on my big toes. It seemed like the technician might have been new. He didn't properly prep or cut the sides of the nail before starting. I asked for a tip, but instead acrylic was applied directly, and it went underneath my real nail. The application was very lumpy and uneven. I communicated that I wasn't happy with how it looked, and another technician took over. I explained what I didn't like, but instead of correcting the structure, she just applied more acrylic, making the nail thicker. My toe started to hurt, and she continued filing repeatedly. At that point, I asked if I could just pay for the portion of the service that had been completed because I wasn't satisfied with how it was being handled. She insisted she could fix it, but nothing was being corrected the way I requested. Color hadn't even been applied yet (she offered), but I didn't want polish over a base that wasn't properly done. My toe felt swollen, and I was still charged $35, which is the same price they charge for a full gel service. Considering the service wasn't completed properly and I left uncomfortable, I truly feel a refund would have been appropriate. I'm really disappointed because this is the first negative experience I've had here, but unfortunately, the service was not done correctly and left me uncomfortable. I won't be returning

I called and asked to make an appointment for the next day and the guy who answered said "No we do not have an appointment tomorrow, bye bye." Didn't even offer one for another day. He just hung up. I think that is so rude. Especially since it is so new. Well, I don't plan on ever going there after the way he answered the phone and then hung up on me.
