Called and made an appointment to get some subwoofers added to my truck. First red flag when I…read morearrived another customer was chewing on the owner for poor quality of work performed by one of his employees. Owner told the guy he could not remedy the issue until next week, as they were fully booked up. 2nd red flag was the disgusting bathroom with a ton of trash in the floor because there was no trash can. I ignored the signs, and allowed them to do the work anyways. When I inspected the work I found that they put a new hole through my fire wall for the power wire to the amplifier, rather than using the harness grommet supplied by GM six inches away from new hole, and the fuse was just left hanging between the fender, and battery. When they reinstalled my pillar trim it was put back incorrectly causing a binding issue with the seat belt. They also had not provided the speaker grills I had requested, which they did correct, only for me to discover later they only used 4 of the 8 screws to install, and the screws used were too short to properly hold the grills, which over time came loose, and rattled (see pictures). The kUsTum box that they charged $400 dollars for is made out of 3/8" or 7/16" plywood, and only carpeted, on the front, top and sides very poorly. Bottom and back of box are just wood. My GM has an 8-10" wide hump in the floor, and rather than a box that fits, this box just sits on the hump, and has a large gap under both ends,(notice it floating In the picture with the tape measure). Also rather than using a proper wire connection for the speakers, they just drilled a hole through the back of the box to get the wiring from the amp to the subs. Tried reaching out, but they rarely answer the phone. Amateur quality at a premium price. Buyer beware.

Also bought the paint protection film for the front half of the car. Film was computer cut, so some edges are not tucked, but looks like just millimeters away (I hope no rick hits the gap!). Good value IMO, rocks only hit the front of the car, and Sentry mode protects against door dings around the rest ;) Amber was very nice, showing me examples of both the tint and the film in store!

Submitted a request for quote to remove my old crappy window tint from my 95 Toyota Tacoma…read more Technics was the first to respond with an estimate with different options. Later in the day a 2 other stores submitted quotes as well. The following day I received a follow up message from Technics offering no charge for removal and no tax on installation, I couldn't refuse such an offer. I drove over once the roads cleared and had the tint removed and new tint applied. They charged what they quoted, no haggling, nothing but great customer service at a great cost.
