I had to find most of the items for the room, Mr. Hines assistant doesn't know how to order supplies! This was in Oct of 2017. Recently we are having problems with the flooring they installed (it is separating). Shower knob has a problem with keeping the water hot. Defective knob. Called everyday for a week and they finally returned my Dad's call and told us the company is too busy to do any warranty work. Mr. Hines assistant said he would put this on their calendar to one to two months, then they might be able to repair these items. Mr. Hines builds rooms for a reasonable price but follow-up is NOT customer friendly.

We never felt dismissed if we had a specific question or concern, and we felt that they chose great trade teams to complete specific work; dry wall, plumbing, tiling etc. The biggest compliment I can give is how accommodating they were to my schedule with working from home and having an 11-month-old. They made living in a construction zone tolerable. We also greatly appreciated that everyone they hired to complete work in our home also seemed super trustworthy and friendly. I never felt uncomfortable in my own home, alone with a baby, and with different construction crews around.

I left the bad review he notified my husband today that the remaining balance of $900 is due and it's not paid within 6 months he will see the lean against the property yet he hasn't even finished the job. I would not hire this man again and I recommend that no one else has him because he is inexperienced he has two 21 and 23 year old boys that he leaves on the job by their self and they don't know what they're doing any better than he does and he does. Oh and I forgot to mention the toilet moved from side to side it wasn't fastened down. Everyday he would tell us he would be through the next day and I would tell him there's no way you have too much to do and I would show him the repairs that he did not do right and tell him to do the rest of them right or it was not going to fly with me he ignored me so when he said the job was finished and I said no they're screws up there that haven't even been mudded you still haven't caulked the windows I pointed out to you and you said you would fix . Before he went to Lowe's I showed him that I had the bathroom faucet and a touch toe stopper for the brand new tub he said okay when he came back he had a whole faucet pack he didn't put in the strainer he didn't put in the stopper although we asked him repeatedly to he doesn't listen to his clients his customers he doesn't really care what they say and he gives you a Pity poor story about being from Haitian they're starving over there and he has nothing be careful he'll bring other people in and make money off of their money

My water heater burst and I needed to replace it. I told him I had a 50 gallon electric water…read moreheater and the estimated price was $1,675 and that he could replace it same day. I called a few places and the prices were definitely less expensive ($1,400-$1,500) however, they could not replace for at least 1-2 days. As hot water is a necessity in my home, I elected to move forward and pay the higher price in order to have the convenience of hot water. I sent Harold a picture of the specifications of the old water heater so he could see what I had. They arrived promptly and had a crew of 4 out to do the job. They were very courteous and did the job quickly. When I went out to look at the hot water heater, I noticed that it looked smaller and when I asked, the technician told me it was a 40 gallon. I told him that I had a 50 gallon, to which he brought me over to the old one and showed me it was in fact a 40 gallon, just built differently which I appreciated. I also noticed that my old heater had copper and brass piping from wall which they connected to from the old water heater and replaced with CPVC and it definitely seems flimsy compared to the other piping. The reason I am giving Harold 4 stars is because I feel that while I had given him verbally the wrong size (50 vs 40 gallon) and he came with the correct size of 40 via the photo I sent, he didn't adjust the price accordingly as it was probably $50 dollars (or more) less than the 50 gallon price. I feel that's an integrity issue of knowing you paid less than what you quoted, but pocketed the difference without passing it along to the buyer, but that is how I look at things and I realize not everyone does. I would give them a 3 on this aspect of it. The technicians were all very friendly, courteous and respectful of the project.
