As someone with an extreme phobia of spiders, moving into our place turned out to be a house of horrors. If we walked into any given room and there WASN'T a spider somewhere in the vicinity, whether big or small, it was a rare occasion (and an absolute godsend). We live in a very wooded area. I have no words to express my appreciation for Joe. Like many New Yorkers, my apartment has had an ongoing mouse problem. I would come home every night worried about gross little mice wandering around my cute little apartment. I no longer have to worry about this thanks to Joe and Yelp! The entire process with Joe was SEAMLESS. From the initial FREE consultation to the entire exterminating process, he could not have done a more thorough job. Joe came to the house and did a thorough walk through of my basement and property to access the best plan of action. We had a serious roach problem that seemed to get really bad quick! We called Elite exterminator and asked him a billion questions before he even came out to our apartment. We were skeptical because we had already been exterminated a few times and did not see an improvement. He did an extremely thorough job and answered all of our MANY questions. He came back in 2 weeks to reapply all the roach stuff. After the first application/spray the problem had drastically decreased. After the second application/spray we have not seen any bugs. Officially our go-to Exterminator for life!! What a great guy that really does his job with passion and at 100%!! My roommates and I noticed a roach problem in the summer, we ignored it thinking it would go away once our building exterminator came to spray every month at request. but it didn't it just got worst and worst. We decided to pay out of our own pocket to get rid of these roaches that weren't letting us live in peace. We found Elite Exterminating through a referral and the minute we spoke on the phone I just knew he was our guy. We texted him pictures and he gave us a full description of the roaches he saw, and came the next day and did phase 1 of the job. He showed us the problem areas, and went into each room of our apartment and sprayed. Before he even left we noticed a roach-eating the paste he put along the walls... Firstly, Joseph is an all around great person. He is honest, compassionate, thorough, excited about his work, and an expert in his field. I contacted Joseph in April of 2017 after we had been dealing with a pest issue for almost 8 months. I explained the issue and told him what we needed. He knew right away what to use and how to go about clearing up the issue. My mom had taught me a lot about taking care of myself and my home.l (especially as a woman living in NY). So i knew about closing up holes/gaps and all the best poisons to use. Unfortunately, due to our budget we were unable to have Joseph complete the initial pest control until March of 2018. He answered all my questions via yelp and even spoke with me several times via phone before we even made the appointment. Unfortunately, we moved into an apartment building owned by a slumlord property management company called Fairfield Properties. Please STAY AWAY from any properties managed by Fairfield Properties in NYC and/or Long Island. People have complained of mold, and every pest you can think of across all their properties. They promote luxury, yet have no regard for their tenants, their buildings all need to be gutted, they dont use quality exterminators, and dont respond to concerns unless you report them to HPD. We've been dealing with a severe pest issue since we moved in 2016. Once Joseph arrived we had a bit of relief. He closed all gaps placed traps and poison in inconspicuous locations, and used the best insecticides etc. Joseph is so down to earth and made a truly uncomfortable/disgusting situation comical. The follow-up 2 weeks later put us at more ease because there were few signs if any of the pest issue we've been challenged with for almost 2 years. I havent been able to sleep well for almost 2 years or get comfortable in this space because of this pest concern. Joe is incredible! I had a horrible flea infestation-the fleas were absolutely torturing my cats and I and were throughout the apartment. I tried for weeks to take care of the problem myself but nothing seemed to work. I requested a quote out of desperation at 11 at night and 10 minutes later Joe got back to me and in another half hour he was at my house checking out the situation and giving me an estimate.
